Hello there Nick that is a very nice collection of model the 2 trucks you didn't know are DAF super space cab you also have one in the 150th scale version as well. Its very sad New about your friend Dick the American pickup that you turned into a crane I see that on eBay 3 months ago I can't understand people you have known for 30 years turn thair back on you ive had the same with my ex partner . Wow as for the chipperfield Circus set that was real good value for money I don't think there's much more to go with that set, looking forward to seeing your next video take care my friend 👍👌

I cannot begin to comment on your friend's dilemma, or how despicable people can be, but it illustrates comprehensively, that whilst you can choose your friends, you cannot choose your family! I got your email on the tail ramp for the French transporter, and the information on the parcel north, but tried to reply on the usual email and got several bounces back. Thanks for the shout out on that, Nick, nonetheless. I was a bit worried, so am happy to see this video, and that you have been busy, rather than dropping out of the loop! You and Corgi Bob and Martin Dare were the triumvirate that got me back into diecasts, so I was a bit concerned! For me, the Stobart trucks are too much in the modern graphics, but I do like the proper signwritten ones on the older chassis trucks. The Ferrari 250LM is a lovely model, and I have a Code3 Budgie Austin, which is really a lovely model. I made up an interior and glass for mine and hand painted a traditional livery: I keep it as it is to see where I was! The MGA would sort with a change of wheels and tyres and getting the daft bumpers off it; the Midj is better. The Shogun is called the Shogun because the Pajero, which the car is actually called, is Spanish slang for 'wanker' it seems. The faded caravan would make a good snack bar if you worked it a bit. The TK Bedford Beavertail is well worth rescuing: it is really splendid! The wee HA Viva's nice, and I have two of these grass cutters: I had no idea they were worth anything! The 'Pure Mineral Water' Chinese job, is a ripoff of a Matchbox Renault. Not a bad DB tractor, and the road roller is lovely! I don't have a lot of time for the circus stuff either: just seems a bit too 'commercial' to be accurate. "Let's sticker up all the old stock in Chipperfield's livery and see what we can get!" The old Dinky Hay Trailers are a delight - I think I have one in reasonable fettle, but they are neat! I have most of the Yesteryear commercials - collected for the graphics - but none of the cars anymore: they were not badly made, though, even if some of the details were out of scale. Your two blue trucks are Crossleys. A good holiday, looks like, and I only made the continuous comments to prove that I watched all the way through! Sort your email!

So sorry to hear about your friend.. Good friends are you to find.. Here in the USA they sell "sticker remover" its called "goo gone" We have had good luck with getting stickers/price tags off of boxes...maybe you can find it there?

Hello mate, you can get those stickers off the boxes by using lighter fluid. Another Chanel I watch is Toy polloi he's always getting stickers and crappy marks off boxes. Take a look if you are unsure about it, but it's as easy as falling off a log , cheers for the great videos mate always look forward to watching them ,thanks 👍

A lovely lot of models Nick and the Eddie stobart model fleet from your friend Dick what lovely models so so sad what's happened to him some people are unbelievably mean and horrible, I hope he settles in to his new flat nicely and so nice you're going to restore some for him especially the fantastic tk bedford you did for him you did such a good job on that one , the Chipperfield corgi collection is lovely mate great display items there hopefully you can find the other ones so you can have the full collection, hope your cough gets better mate I also had a bad cold about 6 wks ago and have a real chesty dry cough I can't shift , look forward to your next resto mate take care

Glad you're back Nick - and with another fantastic restoration. Great decision using the Corgi wheels, they really suit it. I do like the Holts dark yellow colour and the white roof on the cab goes really well. 👍👍

WOW, absolutely WOW. That's fantastic Nick, absolutely fantastic. I think Saviem were either taken over by, or became part of, Renault in the early 70's??? When I saw your Renault Agriculture stickers I really got excited, it's a fabulous restoration. Your front grille sticker is superb as well. Did you remove the headlights, were they yellow plastic? Are the little tractors those Hatchette models? This is one of your best restorations Nick, well worth waiting for, you've done yourself proud and I bet Fraser is impressed with it too. Hey Nic! I was beginning to worry about you - I sent an email which bounced - but it's nice to see you back in action! Thanks for the shout out - I remember sending that set because I was harvesting Brits from an old toy box, and since the truck was a Frenchie, I thought it best with you since you are nearer France than me! The tyres and wheels have chemically disintegrated, I think: it was never stored anywhere near anything that could have been described as hot: it was in Scotland! I'd have soaked the whole thing in WD40! There might have been a coil spring under the centre of the front axle, down that hollow... Splendid result! Colours look excellent. And that tractor load looks terrific. I also have some good news: I have found a rear ramp! I'll get it posted to you!

A true beauty sir, car carriers are a favorite and this one is outstanding. As trucker of 32 years, I do have a soft spot in my heart. Solido vehicles were a bit out of my price range as a young boy. I remember adding the first Solido to my, kind of dull in comparison, Matchbox castings. It was a bright red 1963 split window Corvette in 1/43, Wow, what a beauty ! Jeweled flip up headlights and the paint ! It never went outside, as my Matchbox cars did. In fact, it was played with very little. I had a thing about scale fidelity I guess. I LOL

Hello Crapaud, I am doing a restoration on Coles crane hydra truck 150T. How on earth do you mount the spring which supports the spindle for the robe?. Do you need to demount the spindle to fit the spring? Which way shall the spring turn? Best Regards Hans-Henrik
