As you were building it, I wondered about the colour - but you had it just right and the end result is fantastic - very well done.

I wasn't struck on the orange colour at first but when you see it in it's final state, wow! It's a head turner!
Me neither lol, I was beginning to think I had done another c**k up but stuck with it, the only thing I wish I had done but can still do is to paint a chrome surround on the windscreen. 😊👍🐸🐸
Great restoration nick,glad you did the scraping it looks brilliant, nice colour choice the door cards being the same colour as the seats is fine .

Wow great colour choice looks absolutely fabulous Nick! Like the chrome strip on the sides turned out well. The original I always thought was a big drab but you've given this a lift a 100x better than the badly playworn starter vehicle. Keep it up!

Nice one Nick ,it is always the end it's crucial, I had my fingers touching the car with super glue on it after I've finished, annoying.Colour is spot on ,looks fantastic
Thank you Laz, I often get very nervous when it comes to putting the models back together again, one wrong move can spell disaster for the whole model, I’ve done the glue on the fingers one a few times🤦🏻♂🤔😉 All the best, Nick.

Turned out very smart Nick 👍 I might have painted the windscreen surround in the body colour, originally the dinky one wouldn't have been, however obviously on the real deal the entire screen isn't made of plastic 😄
Thank you Bill, yes I think you are right about the windscreen surround, it did cross my mind after I had finished that maybe I should have done it in chrome, but yes I guess the real ones would have been the colour of the car with chrome surround, I might have to revisit this one🤔😊👍🐸🐸

Quite a job removing the supadupa !! To be really picky this one would have been a good candidate for jewelled headlights. Again top job and as always I enjoyed the channel Cheers Chris 🇦🇺👍🏻🍻🏆🎯👌🏻

That MG was a basket-case: I'd have had it as a diorama scrapper, but as ever, Nick, you are not to be beaten by a toy car! I wonder if the person who owned, would have it back again, now. Probably! Great choice of colour and a worthy Code3 for sure. I've seen worse blemishes on a new model, so don't sweat the nail mark!
Good you reminded me about a camera, we’re off on the ferry late this afternoon and I had totally forgotten the camera, obviously I will have my phone which I can use lol It was a nice little challenge this one, I nearly didn’t buy it but now I’m glad I did lol, it still came out reasonably good despite the mishap with the nail🤔😊👍 All the best, Nick🐸🐸

Fantastic work, Nick. A1 finish as always ! Could I ask you Nick, what size drill bit do you use ? And what and where do you get the fixing studs from ? Im using the M2 mushroom heads to fix but not always successfully.
