A fine collection this time round, I particularly like the 50s and 60s Dinkies. The mustard coloured one is a Daimler, and the Minic car is a Vauxhall.

Hi Nick , the routemaster was Tern shirts 1st issue, issued in 1964 thru 1965 ,followed by Schweppes 1966 thru 1969 , then esso safety grip tyres 1969 to end in 1979. They were converted to those awful wide speed wheels circa 1974.

Excellent selection this month nick, those older dinky toys are brilliant, and a great donation from John, the triumph spitfire is missing a lady driver and a seat belt, Bob and my self have done these, mg roadster is a nice one also .have fun the triang wind ups are definitely great to have .all the best Martin
Thanks Martin, yes I remember now the videos with you and Bob doing the one with the seatbelt, I didn’t remember it was the triumph spitfire though, going to have to go back and watch again👍 There were some cool models from John, well worth the wait, looking forward to getting stuck into those, it’s just getting the time to do them again, things keep cropping up and knocking all my plans for six lol.There’s another lot of these older dinky toys at the local auction again today, but I’ve just had to get some replacements tyres for my little Suzuki Jimny I use to go to work in, so I think I might have to hold myself back from putting a bid on them ( easier said than done lol 🤦🏻♂) I will have a go at the triang minic ones, not sure if they will work, I haven’t tried the motors yet! Love the London bus,I've got 10 of them! The livery on that one is quite rare,not that many were made.

Ah,but my 10 aren't all of the same one!They have different side ad's as was the norm.Some even have been repainted in other liveries,like the yellow/red of Clydeside Scottish.
Hi Nick its the Healey/ midget for us. The blue Triumph is popular on a re-issue and cheap too, may be easier to buy for the parts than buy spares. All the best from Ian b & family.
Thank you Ian, I will have a look online for the spares and see what’s cheapest, I don’t want to break up a reasonable model that could be restored just for the parts, only if it would be beyond repair, my conscience wouldn’t let me lol😉

You've got a nice haul again this month Nick, I'm intrigued to find out what your planning for the code 3 with the 2 Eddie Stobart containers, I like your code 3's so I look forward to seeing that. I love the MF combine, I still have my later model from when I was a child, and it's still in the original box. I've also got an early model in nice original condition but it needs 2 yellow metal reel bars for the front. I also like the 3 old Dinky trucks that you got at your local auction, and the box you got from John in Canada was well worth the wait. There's a few models in there I've not seen before. Looking forward to some very interesting videos in the future, so take care, and best wishes to you both. Peter.
Cheers Peter, It ended up being quite a good month for models lol, I need to try and start that code 3 with the containers before I forget what it was I was going to do with them 🤦🏻♂😁 The combine was a lucky purchase, in really good original condition, for some reason nobody else seemed to bid on it!
I’m struggling a bit with those decals you were after, I need to try and find a clear picture of one to copy, if I actually do them from scratch they aren’t going to look right, because of the type of lettering used, I will keep looking and messing around with them lol, lucky you aren’t in a rush🤦🏻♂😁

Nice little truck set there, Nick - additions to the Code3 Bedford fleet, perhaps? The old Dinkies are really nice, and I love the style and shape of the rubber car - a Rambler? The Minics might cobble together to make one good one...
Vanguard WILL be a challenge - I was just about to write that when you said it! Looking forward to seeing you finish the Armstrong - you'll be able to make a base for that! The Healey, FX4 (I did one of those in black), the Sprite, the TR2, the Spitfire with missing lady and seatbelt and the D-Jag should all make satisfying builds or restos. With the MG TF, you have a great selection of sports cars there: cracking gift box!
The Ford Sedan is missing a full description: it was known as a Fordor (because of the four doors - really!). The two door model, not done by Dinky was... wait for it... the Tudor! Looking forward to seeing ALL of these on the bench, Nick!
