HI FOLKS, BACK AGAIN, THIS TIME WITH A DINKY SUPER TOYS EUCLID REAR DUMP TRUCK (No.965) WHICH WAS VERY KINDLY DONATED TO MY CHANNEL BY MR. MARTIN DARE. Excellent restoration nick, good idea with the head lights ,it's not easy painting with the camera in the way I remember damaging my phone doing that so iam a bit reluctant to do it again, glad you liked this all the best Martin
Cheers Martin, I enjoyed doing this one, yes it’s a pain filming the painting especially inside, risking spray on the lens, as you know I used to film it outside a lot of the time, but it used to be awkward and take so much time to set the camera up then stay in shot when trying to concentrate on spraying the model parts🤦🏻♂ 🤔😔

That looks great, Nick. awesome model very impressive well done. I've had a trip out to dagfields today came back with a matchbox kingsize Leyland tipper truck in box ,thanks Nick for another great video.

I remember having one of these as a nipper! The tilting mechanism was pretty clever, I thought.
It was an unusual casting, given the scale of the model to the real thing, don't you think? I kind of remember, with my early developing OCD, thinking that it didn't QUITE fit in! What a spuper job you made of it!
Thank you Fraser, that tilting mechanism is really cool, and it is a nice smooth operation to lift and lower the back, it does seem a bit of an odd size yes, I suppose you would just have to blank out the fact that scales were not quite right when playing with different models lol! Nice one Nick. We thought the yellow was a bit bright but together with the added detailing it really suited it. All the best from us all.
Thank you Ian, it was difficult to know exactly what the right shade of yellow should have been as the original paint had obviously faded, but I decided to use what I had left of yellow paint in my paint rack, I do have another one of these models to do but I may do the next one in green as I believe some of the real ones were painted green. Great job done Nick , really like this model truck , that decal was being a pain for you while working over the camera but you got there in the end a good bit of viewing mate thoroughly enjoyed it

Another really nice restoration Nick, the black grille and jewelled headlights look great. I have Microsoft Windows on my laptop but I only have "Paint" not "3D Paint" so I just can't make decals like yours. Looking forward to your next video. Best wishes. Peter.
Thank you Peter, great to see you both the other day, have you tried to get paint 3D on your laptop yet? If you google Paint 3D, it should take you to the Microsoft apps and you should be able to download it to your laptop. Were off to Portsmouth tomorrow, not sure if the ferry will go on Friday though as there are strong winds forecast in the channel🤦🏻♂☹⛴⛴

Very very nice job on that one Nick the decals turned out alright and the colour was nice too , ive been looking at some of them and did see one had glass in the windows and i see the upgrade they did on the new one . Looking forward to seeing the Christmas video that's if you're going to do one this year I know it's a lot of work .

HI nick drove one of these when I was 18 before I got my hgv licence at a quarry in Derbyshire in the 70s they where about clapped out then restored one of these into a code 3 double wheels on the back new chassis removed side panels on engine like the ones we had fitted engine windows cab interior new tipper ram took away handle if your on WhatsApp and have aword with Martin he might be able to put us in touch with one another and I'll send you some pics of my lorries really good job nick
