    Wow Nick, that's a really nice restoration. I prefer the single white colour, it looks great with the red interior. The dashboard and steering wheel look superb and the chrome around the windscreen really sets it off. (I wouldn't have thought of that) You've turned a child's Corgi Toy into a fabulous display model, it's great. Looking forward to your next video, take care and all the best to you both. Peter.🚜👍

      Thank you Peter, glad you like it, the chrome around the windscreen didn’t turn out as well as I wanted, well it looked ok till I put my fingers on it then had to do it again, it never works so well when you put a second coat of Molotow 🤦🏻‍♂🤣😂 All the best to you both, take care, Nick🐸🐸

    Hi Nick, top job the old English white is truly a great choice (anyone can have a red one 🤣) the red interior is spot on. I like the detail on the windscreen and the chrome flash on the sides. Looking 👀 good. Great channel. All the best Chris 🏁🏁🇦🇺🇦🇺

    Lovely job. I’ve often had to go back to the paint stripper when my original idea didn’t work out as planned. Great result. Looking forward to the next one.

    This turned out very smart nick ,glad you went with the single colour, you might find it easier putting the hubs back on in a vice with the soft jaws ,I must say your a brave man to go around the screen with the moltow pen 😮 excellent restoration

      Cheers Martin, didn’t really think about using the vice for the wheels, I’ll remember that for next time😊👍 The Molotow looked better when I did it the first time, until I put my fingers all over it 🤦🏻‍♂ and had to do it again lol, never comes out so well the second time, I probably shouldn’t have done it in the first place, trying to be a clever clogs!🤔😉😁
      All the best, Nick🐸🐸

      Thank you Paul, things quite often don’t go to plan lol, the model I am doing at the moment, I put the waterslide decals on, then as I often do I applied a bit of hand lacquer to them and managed to rub the end off one with the brush, now I have to wait for another set of decals to arrive🤦🏻‍♂🤔 All the best, Nick🐸🐸

    That looks a lot better done in white Nick, proper job. I feel your pain masking two tone paintwork. I have stopped using Tamiya tape, been having unresolved issues with it, so now I use Yellow 'Frog tape' with far better results when masking 2 tone schemes. Glad the puller worked out for you and a good shout using that 'G' clamp. Thanks for the mention and look forward to another instalment, from Mr P.

    • @crapaudnicksdiecastrenovat1739
      @crapaudnicksdiecastrenovat1739  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you Mr P. I must get some yellow frog tape to try now you have mentioned it, I’ve had a few problems with the Tamiya tape too, put it down to my painting being not great, so thanks for the tip, the puller has been a godsend so thanks for that tip too, I did do this video soon after you recommended the puller to me but it’s taken a while to get round to posting it, so sorry for the late mention but it wasn’t at the time lol, I know you did say about the puller in one of your videos too so viewers are probably thinking I’m a bit slow off the start line lol🤔😉😁 Take care, all the best, Nick🐸🐸

    Fabulous end result. I think it would have looked even better if the axles used by Corgi were a couple of mil. longer so that the wheels were not so far inboard. That little puller looks like very useful device.

    A wonderful job Nick, we really like this one. We heard a story about a fire engine manufacturer bringing out a limited run of these called the Dennis-Healey. Note sure on the details but it should raise a few eyebrows.

    A great video once again Nick tool you used for palling off the hubs Martin had one as well and then I remembered I'd 1 in my toolbox i used to use on my model RC helicopters handy little tool to have. I see you was using a G clamp to press the wheels back on your blue pill vice has it got plastic Jaws that go over the metal one ? Or just make some wooden ones up, it sounds like the cold has gone sleep well my friend.
    Ralph

    • @crapaudnicksdiecastrenovat1739
      @crapaudnicksdiecastrenovat1739  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you Ralph, yes I saw the one Martin was using, it was MrP who put me onto this one a few months back, no I don’t have plastic jaws on the covering the metal ones on the pill vice, I’ll have to sort something for that, the clamp did ok though. The cold is still there with an annoying cough I can’t get rid of, this was a restoration I did a while back and kept on a memory stick to try and have some videos in reserve as I haven’t had time to do any since the holiday, been busy at work and helping my Brother on the farm after work.
      Take care, all the best, Nick🐸🐸

    Shame about the red. Still looks great even in the creamy white. Martin showed me a place where he got his wheel puller & I still cant track one. Also what did you use on those hubs? they gleam like a shilling on a chimney sweeps arse
