- HI ALL, BACK THIS TIME WITH THE RESTORATION OF A DINKY TOYS MG MIDGET (No. 108) I HAD PLENTY FUN AND GAMES WITH THIS, A MODEL I EXPECTED TO BE SIMPLE AND STRAIGHT FORWARD TO RESTORE, BUT NO, I WAS WRONG!
I HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS ONE AND THANKS FOR WATCHING, I WISH YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY EASTER.
BEST WISHES,
CRAPAUD NICK . - บันเทิง
Hi Nick, all good in the end. It's a beautiful job very well done lovely model take care look forward to the next .
Thank you Mark👍😊
My favourite car. Ready to race once again.. It came out a beauty in the end. Well done.
Thank you👍😊🐸🐸
Lovely result.worth the extra effort in the end
Thank you👍😊🐸🐸
great job nick, dont apologize we can all wait
Thank you and thank you for your understanding, much appreciated 👍😊 All the best, Nick🐸🐸
I love it Nick. The painted spare tyre and the burgundy grill really set off this beautiful casting. I now have new ideas for my roadster, sports car models.
Thank you Timo, I didn’t want to go overboard with extra details but I thought in this case it just needed a little more than it had originally 👍😊🐸🐸
Great job Nick, the little MG turned out lovely.👍👍 IMO the chrome hubcaps look really good, I often do it on my models.
Thank you Richard, I find that it’s very difficult to try to get the hubcaps nice and round, I thought to mask the outer bits of the hubs but with Molotow I’m not sure if it bleed through or smudge taking the tape off! All the best Nick👍😊🐸🐸
Well done Nick that one gave you some headaches but you got there in the end, the MG is a lovely car and liked the colours you chose, look forward to your next video take care
Thank you Paul, glad you like it, it would be great to have a real one but a little out of my price range lol 🤔 All the best, Nick🐸🐸
Well you didn't expect that to be an easy job after you had attacked the driver with the scale equivalent of a 4" drill, did you? Great end result, a testament to your perseverance.
Thank you David😂🤣 Well, I suppose I got my just comeuppance for being cruel to the driver lol😉😁🐸🐸
Stunning renovation, Nick ! Brilliant job 👍🏻
Thank you Chris 👍😊🐸🐸
Well done nick that little car gave you a lot of trouble all the best steve
Thank you Steve, it keeps me on my toes when I get one like that lol👍😊🐸🐸
That looks good ready for the next one
Thank you Rick👍😊🐸🐸
Glad you share the mishaps as well as the successes. We all go backwards sometimes. Excellent job 👍
Thank you Andy, it’s all sent to test us lol! 🤔🥴😄🐸🐸

Hello NICK great restoration looks new hope you and your family are keeping well regards Glyn
Thank you Glyn, all good here thanks, I hope you and your Family are well too, all the best, Nick🐸🐸
Wow Nick, the little MG looks superb with all the extra detailing, really good. That's a great tip for rusty base plates, I'll give it a try next time. The windscreen looks great as well. Enjoy your Easter weekend and very best wishes to you both. Peter.
Thank you Peter and thanks for your messages, I did text you back but not sure if you received it, we had a nice break thanks and Monica’s Daughter and Family are over this week which is nice. Hope you enjoyed the Easter break, all the best to you and Anne- Marie, Nick👍😊🐸🐸
Lovely Restoration
Thank you👍😊🐸🐸
Lovely job nick masking for different colours can be a pain when it pulls paint off for no reason
Thank you Nigel, you’re right about the masking, pulling the paint off and the bleed through, I got both on this one lol🤦🏻♂🐸🐸
Very nice extra detailing on the mg .Nick brings it to life , and masking around the cockpit can be a pain ,so I feel your frustration. The window glass came out well . Enjoy your Easter break. 🐣
Thank you Martin, I think masking cockpits is my least favourite thing to do, I guess we’ve all been there lol and will be again at some point 🤦🏻♂😏 Take care, all the best, Nick🐸🐸
Beautiful and so very inspiring this restoration is Nick.
Best regards Tommy in Dublin.
Hope things level out for you and you get some more free time.
Thank you Tommy, glad you enjoyed the video, I’ll get there in the end lol, I have some restorations on the go which I started before Christmas so I’m doing a little bit at a time! All the best, Nick👍😊🐸🐸
I was getting rather concerned that i hadn't seen your latest video. Appears i hadn't selected to receive notifications. So i change that, so i will receive them in future. I am happy now that i have got my fix. Great show as usual, cheers mate.
Thank you Wally, glad you enjoyed it, all the best, Nick👍😊🐸🐸
Midget? MG TF surely? A super casting nonetheless! Nice result from one that fought back. Nice wheels.
Belated HB, N, &MHROTD!
Thank you Fraser, TF, Td , TC midget ? I don’t know, the model had MG Midget on the baseplate, I don’t really know anything about these MG’s. Thank you for the birthday greetings, another year older🤦🏻♂😔 don’t know where the time goes🤔🐸🐸
Yes, I saw the baseplate - the car is for sure a TF, but I don't recollect them being familiar as Midgets - but you live and learn, eh?@@crapaudnicksdiecastrenovat1739

Thank you Luke, took the long way around lol!🤦🏻♂😁👍🐸🐸
