- HI ALL, HERE WEARE AGAIN, THIS TIME WITH THE RESTORATION OF A CORGI TOYS FIAT 2100 WHICH WAS VERY KINDLY DONATED TO MY CHANNEL BY MR. MARTIN DARE. I DID IT A CUSTOM COLOUR AS I WASN'T KEEN ON THE ORIGINAL COLOUR BUT I SAW A PICTURE ON GOOGLE OF A REAL ONE IN THE COLOUR I DID IT IN, I AM NOT 100% HAPPY WITH MY MOLOTOW AROUND THE WINDOWS BUT MY HANDS WERE A LITTLE SHAKEY, MIGHT HAVE BEEN BETTER TO HAVE NOT DONE IT BUT WE LIVE AND LEARN EH!!
I DO HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS ONE, IF SO PLEASE JOIN ME AGAIN NEXT TIME FOR ANOTHER DIECAST RESTORATION !!

Excellent restoration again Nick! Odd original colour scheme, but yours is much more apt for the model. Nice choice of yellow, ive always had a job finding a decent shade! Thanks again see you next time!

Enjoyed watching your restoration ,I did one of these too and hated the original colour I used a green metallic and white for the roof.

I laughed when you said about getting super glue all over the base plate, that's what I always end up with. 🤣🤣 This is a super restoration, the colour choice is fantastic, I really enjoyed the video. Looking forward to your next one. All the best. Peter.

The Taupe and pale Lavender on the Fiat is ghastly: I have no idea what Corgi was thinking when it settled on that livery! Yours is much better, Nick (and I can say that without getting to the end of the video!). Funny how Corgi did that half-moon recess for a trailer, yet I don't remember any trailers from Corgi in that period...
Minty and black - very correct for the period: you can just see that getting skelped around the Colosseum! Lovely.
The Corgi colours were yuk lol, I wouldn’t have been able to match them anyway with the spray cans (thank goodness) I suppose you could have hooked a dinky caravan up to it, I wonder if any child did, pick and mix😉😁👍 All the best, Nick🐸🐸

Hi Nick, how you doing? Thats a fantastic resto. Looks lovely. I must get myself some of those wheel pullers. Corgi actually made a Fiat 1800 as well as the 2100, I think it was slightly earlier. The two are almost identical, the 1800 doesn't have the jewel headlights. I have one of each to do, I hope they come out as good as yours!

Thank you Simon, hope you find the puller useful when you get it, just be careful though when using the smallest screw in bit as I have just done a corgi Citroen Safari and the wheels won’t press off, it is quite easy to bend that piece, I did that and had to get another puller, good job they don’t cost too much lol🤦🏻♂ All the best, Nick🐸🐸🐸
