Quality
That looks real good you could say the chief parked to close and the decals wrinkled from the heat
Thank you and yes what a great excuse for wrinkly decals lol👍😊🐸🐸

Thank you John👍😊🐸🐸
An idea,if you get another one,a Police car!the colour could be black,or white as an early motorway car.Btw,this turned out ok,bar the door decals.
Thank you Terry, yes I did think about doing a police version after seeing one that someone had done that was for sale on eBay recently, definitely one for the future! 👍😊🐸🐸
Great restoration Nick Cheers Michael
Thank you Michael 👍😊🐸🐸
WOW what a beauty, it looks fantastic Nick, really good. Your detailing is superb, it looks great in the outdoor shots. I wonder if this Jaguar was also available as a Police car? Looking forward to your next video, they're never too long. Take care, all the best to you both. Peter. 🚜👍
Thank you Peter, I have thought about doing one of these in a police car version after seeing one for sale on eBay that had been painted as a police car, not sure if Corgi ever did one though, but definitely one for a future restoration video.
Take care, all the best, Nick🐸🐸
corgi will be after that back lol
I am on catch up - you can be as biased as you like Nick. The finish on the restos speak for themselves!
I do need one of your cunning hub pullers though - I got some mixed quality potentials whilst on holiday - though not all that I wanted (I really want a scrappy Marina Coupe that I can get the Whizzwheels off!), so a pointer in the direction of that puller, would be useful!
They put your heart stents in with UV cooking, I found... quite interesting to watch, when you are 'under the knife' !
Really nice finish on that Jag: lovely.
Thank you Fraser, As regards the hub puller, great little tool but I did abuse mine a little yesterday trying to get a Corgi wheel off and managed to bend the small threaded bit that screws into the center of the wheel, I have straightened it but I have gone on Amazon and bought another one, you can buy them on eBay too but on both sites they vary a lot in price, I got mine for £7.76 including postage and our GST (import tax) so really quite good, here is the link to the one I bought. Motor Gear Puller, Steel Pinion Gear Removal Tool RC Part Accessory for RC Vehicles amzn.eu/d/77eGAoV
I have just started on one of the models you sent me, not had much time to do a lot on the model front lately so I’m trying to do a batch of them at the moment, making the most of a weekend off at last lol. I missed out on a good batch of dinky toys at our local auction the other day, estimate £60 -£80, I knew they were worth more, I had to put an online bid on before the auction£120, the lot went for £180🤦🏻♂ probably what they were worth but not really a bargain and too much for me lol!
@@crapaudnicksdiecastrenovat1739 Never thought of RC - I'd probably be cheaper going to an RC shop here, than paying the postage! Good tip, so thanks for that, Sir!
Hi Nick this is "smoking hot" quick call the fire chief. All the best from Ian b & family.
Lol, thank you Ian, all the best to you and your family, Nick🐸🐸
Neat resto Nick. The brightwork looks really shiny. I've had waterslide decals react against lacquer as well. Sometimes get very twitchy about using it. Been inclined at times to say sod it & quit while I'm ahead
Thank you Ian, I have had another disaster with lacquer and waterslide decals as you will probably see in my next video to come, I think from now on I will apply them after the model has been lacquered and leave it at that lol😊👍🐸🐸
@crapaudnicksdiecastrenovat1739 know that feeling. Always think that sealing them in keeps them chip free. It might sometimes depend on what brand the lacquer is, where the decals come from & what drying time you gave them. Tho saying the recent Corgi H truck I did as a Royal Mail van had custom made decals. They didn't come cheap. No way was I risking them
Wow very nice colour and job there Nick it must be time to do some more code 3 lol . Hope your feeling better now and your having some nice weather out there , you did say you was very busy at work is that cleaning the beaches ? .
Take care Nick.
Ralph
Thank you Ralph, yes I need to do a code 3 soon, just not had much time, the videos I’m putting up now are ones I did a while ago, yes been cleaning beaches but as you may know Jersey has a very big rise and fall of tides so I have to work with the tides so not only on the beaches, other duties include driving the bin wagon emptying bins( one man crew lol, the driver) and cleaning roads of any debris and weeds from the pavements etc, many other duties lol and if that’s not enough, I been doing some work for my Brother on the farm when I get home, not been any time for model restoration 🤦🏻♂🤔
Unfortunately the weather is dreadful here at the moment, not that warm, high winds and plenty rain, so much for summer lol.
Take care, all the best, Nick🐸🐸
@@crapaudnicksdiecastrenovat1739 holy cow when do you get time off and when do you get time to do the restoration. You are a very busy man when I seen pictures of Jersey it's always clean and tidy that's all down to you and your fellow workers👏👍.
Ralph
Excellent work nick, love it...
By the way we're did you get that axle puller?.
Thank you, the axle puller I got on Amazon, you can also get them on eBay👍😊🐸🐸
I had one when I were a nipper.
Nice Restoration it looks like new 1 Like & Subscribe 😁👍
Thank you my friend and thank you for the sub, have subbed you back👍😊🐸🐸
If i can find it, would you be interested in restoring one of my dads old cars
Hi there, I don’t really want to take on restorations as I just want to enjoy the hobby as and when I have time to do any models without the pressure of having to do them for others, as you know. things can and do go wrong sometimes with the models and I don’t want to be worrying about something like that happening, I hope you understand where I’m coming from, I know there are other restorers here on TH-cam that do take on projects for people, but at the moment it’s not something I want to do. All the best, Nick🐸🐸
What is the car 0:17
It’s a Dinky Toys No.152 Rolls Royce
