Running has been my lifelong passion . Injured both knees about 5 months ago. Probably due to infrequent running and 40 hours a week at a desk. Just rolled out both legs for first time and the pain was excruciating. Up there with childbirth. I could feel the muscles around my knees do weird things while I rolled. Post roll I’d say 80% of the tightness/stiffness from that one rolling session is gone. Def feel like my legs just went through something major🤣( I honestly did some screaming and crying to be honest while rolling ). I’m excited to see what improvement is in store for me, with regular rolling. Hope I can run regularly again in the future.
Can you do same rolling with iust affected leg ~ without other knee overvtop???

This is a great video! A tight psoas can effect so many things.. Besides hip or low back pain/pull..if can effect our pelvic floor, breathing, anxiety and emotions ...you might even feel it in the pelvis, sphincter area etc. It can effect turning in bed ( lifting hips to turn), discomfort in thy hips during intercourse whilst on bottom (for women) and standing for too long it standing up straight after getting out of bed. This foam roll will probably hurt or cause discomfort but that is a good hurt and so well worth it. I'd you're one to draw up your knees and curl in a chair might be time to stop it... Do what this guy says and if he has something on sartorius muscle release you might want to check it out.
