Hiya Ben thanks for taking the time to watch and a very challenging day for me with one tiny fish 😂 But have to take it on the chin and man up as my wife explained to me when I got home 😂 went last weekend and fished a beach at Shoreham with Andy all day spider crabs and no bites. We then packed up and I left one rod out which went screaming off, then tried to reel the fish in with lunging runs and definitely a big smooth hound. Got it nearly in and it bent the hook and was gone. Am still grumbling about it now 🤣🤣 cheers 🍻

Really appreciate your comments and fishing is contrary. I thought I was doing all the right things but still got hammered by the others 😂 Starting to get used to it but that’s why I go as I know one day the monster will arrive 🤞house all going to plan although won’t be leaving southern shores just yet as my wife wants to work a wee while longer cheers and take care 👍👍🍺🍺🐟❤️

My bad Paul. I did that reply in my head old scenario lol, must have been distracted. It's great to hear you'll be 'down south' a while longer as I think I will be heading south within the next 6 weeks or so. It's one hell of a story I will regale you with another time, hopefully with fishing rod's in hand, and maybe even a few fish too🤞😂. Dx

What a kind thing to say and wish I was as good as fisho as like you loved his videos. Not moving North just yet as wife working a few more months so probably rent out the property as mentioned before. Andy will still fish as he is obsessed with freshwater and sea fishing and will definitely come and visit me. 👍🎣🍺🍻

Hi Carl all good thanks fella and was up your neck of the woods last week and visited coastline from Spurn up to Flamborough. No fishing rods with me and my wife and I were house hunting and found somewhere in Hornsea which is all going ahead. Had a blast and a laugh this weekend and sometimes it goes that way that all around catch and you don’t. But had a brilliant day in great company out in the fresh air, what could be better. Hi Bill and good to hear from you, not going north just yet as wife wants to work a wee while longer but saw the house and it ticked all the boxes so thought I would buy it and maybe rent it out short term so you got me for a few more months 👍 Any golden greys I have caught have been at Bracklesham on white rag and tiny spinners but all fish caught were on king rag pieces and I have not seen any caught in the last several years. Couple of other anglers there also caught some but don’t know what bait they were using. Cheers for the support and the kind words much appreciated take care 👍🎣🎣🍺

Cheers for that and a perspective I had missed. Very true and ultimately we all gain and benefit as my mind is always free of the daily crap we have to deal with when I go fishing. It is food for the mind and soul and as Klaus always said it’s vitamin sea 👍🎣🍺🍺

Am glad there is someone else out there who knows the fishless feeling 😂 But as you rightly say I did catch a fish but did have a laugh in good company and part of why we go fishing. Loved every minute and I did catch a golden mullet six years ago at Bracklesham but not as big as Andy’s. They used to be quite common in Shoreham and caught with a spinner and red ragworm. You are certainly right about proper fish and chips. While we’re there had the works cooked in beef dripping took me back to my childhood. Not rushing up North as wife wants to work a wee while longer before she retires so will be around for a few more months. Thanks for the support really appreciated 🎣👍❤️

Thanks for the kind comments and try to make videos that appeal to fisherman and women from all ages and backgrounds with some humour. For me it’s about just having fun as am not the best fisherman but love being out by the sea having a laugh. I used to be in the military and one of the areas I spent time in was Holderness way so know the area really well. People are very friendly and life is a bit slower but am sure the fish will be safe around me 😂😂👍🎣❤️

Hi fellow thanks for the kind comments and support and always had an ambition to move next to the sea. Know that area well as was in the military and spent some time up that way. Plan is to initially buy the house and probably be around the south a wee bit longer until my wife retires then move so hopefully shouldn’t be too stressful. Morning and yep we were fishing same day further along. May crap around sporadically and manky reels needed a good scrub when I got home. As you say fishing is contrary but the monster is always round the next bend on the next beach.🤞 I am up in Yorkshire as we speak and staying next to a beach with the wife and my dog. Beer, walks but no fishing as we are house hunting and scoping out the area. Love it and the beaches are just endless with huge lugworm beds. Am aiming to get to Shoreham this Sunday with Andy and all looking good weather wise. Thanks for the lovely message really appreciate it and brought a smile to my face as well 👍🎣❤️

Hi Kevin the plan is to get somewhere to live on East coast of Yorkshire by the sea and initially I will go up weekends as wife wants to work another couple of years and her job is very close to where we currently live, then both of us retire fully as I currently work part time. Then we upsticks and move up there. Always wanted to live near the sea with varied coastline and was in the military up that way in my youth so know the area well 👍🎣🎣🍻
