Just scrolling through my subs and saw your thumbnail and your smiling face. Instantly put a smile on mine. I was fishing Cooden beach, few miles to the east if that was 24/5. Stinky mayrot and one slimey green eel for my effort. That’s fishing and why we love it. Haha glad you’re on the up fella!!
Morning and yep we were fishing same day further along. May crap around sporadically and manky reels needed a good scrub when I got home. As you say fishing is contrary but the monster is always round the next bend on the next beach.🤞 I am up in Yorkshire as we speak and staying next to a beach with the wife and my dog. Beer, walks but no fishing as we are house hunting and scoping out the area. Love it and the beaches are just endless with huge lugworm beds. Am aiming to get to Shoreham this Sunday with Andy and all looking good weather wise. Thanks for the lovely message really appreciate it and brought a smile to my face as well 👍🎣❤️

Great video Paul and good to see you looking so well. We never know what’s in store for us do we? I wish you friend a successful recovery. How far were you casting for the bass. All mine are caught close in 20/30 yards out just before and just after high tide. The prawn bait looked great and well presented but I have never had any success with them, even the freshly caught live ones! Glad you are through the tunnel. I am still in it but seeing some light. In complete remission from leukaemia and having maintenance chemotherapy pending bone marrow transplant in 6/8 weeks. Your videos and your own personal battle have inspired me over the last 12 months and for that I thank you so much. With very best wishes to you and your family and all your fishing friends. You are bang on about we do not know what is around the corner and recent events have taught me a few life lessons and looked down a few dark places as cancer can be a lonely place but has certainly been helped by all the support from people like you. Really happy you are in remission and not too many more steps to go. I had a list with all the treatments/operations and dates I took great delight slowly crossing them off to finally get to a place where I could go away with my wife and not have to think about the next hospital visit. My prayers are with you. The bass were close in and like you not had much success on the prawn was hoping for a smoothie. Keep on the journey as the light at the end of the tunnel is getting closer and bigger cheers and take care ❤️❤️🎣
Hi Kevin the plan is to get somewhere to live on East coast of Yorkshire by the sea and initially I will go up weekends as wife wants to work another couple of years and her job is very close to where we currently live, then both of us retire fully as I currently work part time. Then we upsticks and move up there. Always wanted to live near the sea with varied coastline and was in the military up that way in my youth so know the area well 👍🎣🎣🍻
