  • Sea fishing at Seaford in an easterly wind experimenting with braid, new multipliers and a different cast.
    Fished all day in a strong increasing easterly wind with a rising tide with little hope of catching.
    Were pleasantly surprised with dab, flounder and whiting.

      Hi Kevin thanks for that and the plaice vote. Reels like anything new in life will take a few goes to get used too but so far seem to work well and no birds nests 🤞
      Weather not looking the best for the next outing but still probably going to give it a go as was surprised to catch yesterday with the easterly’s and the ruddy cold. Still spring is on its way and all the fish are on their way 😂 take care cheers Paul 👍🐠🐠🐠🍻

    Got to say I caught more fish on smelly sticky blacks (usually frozen) than on live ones. Unfortunately had to dump them in moving as my partner didn't want them in her freezer 😲😲😲. Not had any for years now!
    Keep fresh 4 days in paper then wrap in clingfilm and freeze down in 10s. Last for years and always available! ☺

    • @SeaFishingWithPaul
      @SeaFishingWithPaul  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Kerry I learned a big lesson as all the rag I bought was given away to another fisherman when we left. I have a second bait freezer as wife wasn’t happy with all the malt leftover’s 😂
      But will give the smelly lug another airing this weekend although weather not looking the best and rubbish tide. Will definitely need a deeper water venue.
      Cheers and take care 👍🐠🎣🍺😃

      @@SeaFishingWithPaul Glad you got off the mark Paul well done. We had an unexpected catch Saturday, I caught a Conger, a couple of feet long, a PB ( i really don't like them though lol) followed by a dogfish later on. I've never had a Conger from that mark in over 25 years of fishing there. Not sure if its because of all the pollution from the water companies. If it is at least the eels are eating it up I suppose. my friend caught a doggy, pollock and pouting. our best session for a long time as last year was awful. hopefully were all off the mark and plenty more to come. Looking forward to the next video. Take care and tight lines my friend.

      @@fishingwithtednfamily Hi Stevie conger sounded a result as long as one stays away from the bitey end😂 You can tick it off the list.
      Was a real struggle all around our coastline. I spoke to several friends of mine who fished on Saturday although 20 miles away and had no bites or fish.
      But maybe once water warms it will improve. Take care cheers Paul 👍🐠🍺🍺😃

Shoreham is my closest beach, be an honour to meet you if you fish down that way. Keep up with the great videos, I look forward to chuckling along with them and of course watching the fish come in, tight lines and now off for beer 🍺

    Would have been a pleasant sunday at Shoreham west arm but for the fact that my new rod snapped in two.

    Entertaining vid as usual Paul, nice to see u catching. I like ur rods myself, very similar to my colmics.. i’m thinking now i should clean my mag 4’s out and give em a squirt, my casting is crap, must practice. Keep it up chap ✊

    • @SeaFishingWithPaul
      @SeaFishingWithPaul  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Colin honestly didn’t think we would catch anything as savage Easterly and really cold but a fish big or small is not a blank. Am happy with how the changes are going to try and get the distance edge. Am happy with the rods although colour may be a bit leery, but they cast well and were within my budget. Would live a set of century rods but would be over £1000.00 for two and would struggle to pay that.
      Clean your multipliers and give a lash with some rocket oil and they will whizz out.
      Weather this weekend not looking to good but probably still going to get out there and have a go. Take care and cheers for the support 👍🐠🍺😃

    Well done to all 3 of you , a fish is a fish , its better than blanking mate and you had 2 each 👍 . The gay rods comment had me laughing , there's nothing wrong with those rods , and Keith has the same rods as me only mine are the 13ft Rampge 2 , not bad rods really. I have a pair of penn mag 4 525 multiplier reels , been meaning to take the factory grease out of them for a while , apparently they put loads in them . Only heard about that rocket fuel oil a couple of days ago , is it good stuff ? 👍🎣

    Great to see you out again Paul. The size of the fish being caught along the South coast is all down to Brexit . Not sure exactly why, but it is a sound universal excuse for everything that is going wrong atm. Regarding the small size of the fish being caught remember some women say that size doesn’t matter, however I usually find them to be quite shallow. Stay safe and tight lines. Mike.

      @SeaFishingWithPaul  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi fellow brexit all the way for lack of fish 😂 re size you made my wife laugh and she said it’s men that are shallow and easily pleased as long as they are let out every now and then to go fishing 🐠😂cheers and take care 👍🐠🐠🍺🍺🎣

    • @kerryfoster1
      @kerryfoster1 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Brexit should INCREASE the size and variety of fish! I can remember years ago catching tiny mackerel which we NEVER caught in the 70's to 90's. They virtually dissapeared after 2012. I pretty much stopped fishing then. No fishing (commercially) zones rigorously policed are the way forward - but it's a long process. KEEP THE GREEDY EUROPEANS OUT!
