- Join us on an unforgettable fishing journey along the picturesque shores of Shoreham and Selsey Beaches! In our first session at Shoreham Beach, Martin's luck was on fire as he reeled in a dogfish, while I found myself with…. nothing!
Moving on to our second session at Selsey Beach, Andy's skills paid off with a remarkable bream catch, while Arron celebrated his victory with a wrasse. Meanwhile, I continued my quest, yet to land a catch worth boasting about.
The third session took us back to Shoreham and Rob who stole the show by enticing a bass with his lure. As he fought to bring the bass to the surface, an unexpected twist occurred-a large smooth hound latched onto his other bait. Sadly, fate intervened, and the mighty smooth hound slipped away just as it approached the net.
Watch as we explore the unpredictable world of fishing, and of course have some laughs along the way!

Thanks for sharing your fishing adventures. You are absolutely right about getting out when you can. It’s good for the soul to be in a chilled environment. We've all struggled lately and when I have caught it's been mainly very undersized plaice and spider crabs.
Hope to bump into you on Shoreham West arm one of these days. I can't do beaches any more due to Parkinson's but I am determined to fish til they cart me off.
Hi Andrew, the muttering of Vern what can I say other than he makes me laugh tin a positive way. Him and the Holderness Codfather are a pair. I one day will fish with them as retiring soon to Northumberland by the sea.
You are right a bream or a bass will put a smile back on my face and aiming to get to Selsey not this weekend but the following 🤞would be good to bump into you on Shoreham West arm maybe later in year when the mackerel hunters move on.
Sort to hear about your Parkinson’s but you definitely have the right attitude to life.

Hi Adam thanks for the nice comments and yes been a wee while. But some potholes of life got in the way over last several months. Not out this weekend but following am going Selsey way with Dave the train driver to see if we can catch some bream. In my case would be happy with just a fish 😃 cheers 🍻 🐠🐠

Hi Karl yes was good to get a bit of fresh air and had a belly full of ruddy Covid and all the excitement that it brings 😂 still got a really annoying 😷 cough.
I felt for Rob as well as was quite a large smoothie, still as we know fishing can be a bit like that. Highs and lows. Look forward to having a fish together soon cheers 🍻 🐠

Great to see you out again Paul , was beginning to think that you had knocked sea fishing on the head , glad you haven't, as your vids bring great joy to myself and others I'm sure , even though you haven't caught in a while 😂, I'm sure things will change, just gotta keep having a bash , so don't go getting disheartened, I must have had 5 or 6 sessions in a row and blanked every time last year . Sorry to hear about the mother inlaw and I hope she can make a speedy recovery. As for you falling down the stairs .....maybe 1 to many beers in the garden 😂😂. Mother in law all fixed up and now in a care home near us so easy to visit her.

Glad there are others out there who also don’t catch 😃 Mr Crabtree takes me back to my teens reading him the night before a foray to the local pond catching Rudd, Roach, Tench and a rarity now wild Crucian carp on early summer mornings with rising mists and fish sploshing I miss those simpler times. Was up at 4.00am this morning and headed out into the wind and rain down to the shore ever hopeful 👍🤞🤞🍻

Hi Colin good to hear from you and great place Beer used to go there in my youth. Like you when I go away with my wife fishing gear stays behind. Had a few lumps and bumps along life’s road but will be out again end of this month to Selsey. Am just oiling up the runners on my Luge 😂

Both smoothies I caught last year were on PRAWN. Give them a go Paul - cheap compared to worm baits and you can eat what you don't use 😂😂 take care mate!

Hi John just back from Poland and going into work and a shock to the system as weather in Poland unusually warm and had an ace time visiting my son who lives there. My wife got grumpy about me falling down stairs and not being careful enough, saying a man of my age should take more care 😂

Have been out the last couple of weekends and again today. Weather against us with thunderstorms and torrential rain, lightning and today howling winds but am persevering with it. Sometimes feel like going back to carp fishing 😂 cheers and take care👍😃🐠🐠
It’s not just you Paul. I’ve had nothing this year at all. I was out at pagham a couple of weeks back and they guys next to me, we’re on doggies all evening. I had one run all night. Beginning to think either I’m doing something wrong, or there aren’t actually any fish in the sea! 😂
Morning to you and sorry to hear that your fishing experience is similar to me. Although it reassures me that I am not alone. Does get very frustrating particularly if people nearby are catching. I use similar rigs, similar distances and same baits. All I can do is tell myself that next time it will come good cheers 👍😃🐠🍻

Hi Andy and I went this weekend on Saturday to Selsey and too much weed so we then went to Shoreham and caught nothing, you aced it by the sound of things and maybe you could teach Andy and I a few tips about catching 😀
@@SeaFishingWithPaul simple to learn how to catch if I see u on east I’ll show u going Saturday if u come up I’ll show u some tips but I can catch a lot of bream
@@SeaFishingWithPaul main tips I can give u is use 3 hook flappers with size 2 hooks half a worm or a quarter that’s with lug or rag chop up into bits of worn the size of the top crease of your pinky to the tip and keep trying and you will get a good day you don’t have to use a lot of bait to catch a lot
