- Sea fishing at Pevensey bay catching fish from the shore.
Fished the tide in and then back out with Andy and Derek two of my fishing friends. Baits used were old black lug, fresh ragworm and fish baits.
Rigs used were pulley pennels hoping for a larger fish and two hook clipped down rigs for flatfish.
Weather warm to start with and then torrential rain.
All of us caught fish with Andy the overall winner again 😃👍

Big hello and the beaches down this way certainly have a charm and variety but not many codling which seem to have swam up your way 😂
Am aiming to move up to the east coast of Yorkshire when I retire in a couple of years time and do like some of the rugged beaches up that way.
Rolls were a revelation and easy to make and surprised I hadn’t thought of doing before.

Hi Ray, big hello and the rods certainly have helped improving my casting and am getting braver leaning into it as use 15lb mono obviously with a shock leader.

@@rayb228 Tried the braid but a real challenge on the multiplier fine with larger diameter but affects how much line sits on the reel.
Lower diameter digs in and gets under the loops causing massive bird nest so went back to mono and really happy with it but needs to be expensive mono and a wee bit of stretch in it.

@@SeaFishingWithPaul ok mate as a very occasional sea angler now I went over to cheap braid on fixed spools and have not had a problem but multipliers may well have a different set of issues.

I had to go to hospital for a cheque up on my prostate had a internal his fingers were like piano keys bloody hell it hurt , got the all clear and back on the tablets , catch you at the next venue 😊

Hi Paul I watch yr videos a lot I come from Kent and started back sea fishing since 2022 after 35 years break look forward to watching more videos I fish mainly Walmer and hothead beaches so maybe 1 day u could meet me for a session in Kent either walmer or hythe
Hi Keith sounds a good idea and would love to have a meet up your way and like you stopped fishing beaches to concentrate on carp fishing then came back to a beach several years ago.

Must say the rolls looked lovely, there's not anything better than the smell of fresh bread baking . You had a good day fishing. Make sure you don't over do.
Big hello and surprised myself with the roll making and should have done before and bacon sizzling on a cold day is a magic smell.
Am not going to overdo it until I have had my next operation and then a few days rest.

Hi Rob enjoyable day even with the torrential rain 😂😂 although there comes a point where everything starts to leak so went home.
Rolls were a surprise for me and need to do more often and sizzling bacon lifts the spirits on a cold wet day.

Seeing you do those rolls has made me bloody hungry 😂, Andy is definitely the fish whisperer. Glad you're on the mend too , one of my pals has been having tests over the last few months he's been given the OK thank god . As for the tit in the range rover ,karma will pay him a visit one day . Hi Phil have learned now that if you fish away from main car parks you don’t get as many swimmers around although the summer becomes a problem so may well need your pencil and pants combo 😂😂😂🎣👍
