Just a BLIP for Alex Albon & Williams F1?
So 2024 hasn't lived up to Williams' expectations so far but the question is still, is this a blip on the road to regaining F1 success or is this the beginning of another downturn? Also can Alex Albon help steer Williams back in the right direction for the 2024 Formula 1 season?

In addition how will Lewis Hamilton's poor start compare against Sainz who is flying right now? Things ar...

    The crash was Daniel’s fault. But Albon is also overrated. He is a good driver. But driving well in a backmarker car doesnt always translate the same result when driving upfront in a competitive car. It’s harder not to fumble when youre at the front and being chased.

    The statistics show F1 champions tend to win a title around their 4th year. Button, Mansell, and Andretti won their title in their 10th-12th season, and the very exceptional drivers win a title before the 4th year marker. I am of the mind that if a driver has not won a title in 10 years, someone else should have their seat. Carlos Sainz has been in 4 different teams in F1 coming up to his 10th season and only won 3 races. He might do a Jense and win, but his odds are getting slim. Ferrari were right to go with Leclerc and Lewis. All Lewis needs is rear end stability and downforce back on his rear tyres, to get the seat forward, and front end lock back on his car to brake late again, and he will be back. Leclerc will refine and improve with Lewis. Once the engine freezes are opened back in 2026, things will change.

    Ferrari must focus on keeping P2 in the Constructors or maybe even getting that golden calf of getting P1! They need to keep hiring top personnel to maintain their status and have the goal to win championships. 2026 or bust! Leclerc will have enormous pressure on him this season thru 2026. He's become Vettel while he was in the other seat. If Leclerc can not deliver, Hello, Oliver Bearman! It is not outside the realm of F1 reality that Hamilton and Bearman could be driving in 2027. Either way, Ferrari win and stay relevant. Great thing about F1 is that Anything can happen. Sainz has more to gain than anyone else on the grid currently. He can opt for Mercedes for a year or not. They could consider him as the new number 1 if GR fails to deliver and be hired for 2026. He could go to rbr and could potentially get some victories that Max (if there) could not obtain. If Max is gone, he could run that show with Lawson incoming. He could also go to aston stroll. Those three teams are more viable than Audi/Sauber as he wants to remain in a competitive car. F1 is to blame for Sainz not having a seat at this date as the teams still refuse to bring in at least 2 more teams to the grid. With 10 teams, only half are viable and that's not for the wins, at least not yet. As an over milked ca$h cow for Liberty Media, they continue to spoil what was once a more enjoyable entertaining sport. But, we don't live in the past, do we?

  • @LaurynasSFM
    @LaurynasSFM หลายเดือนก่อน

    If I was running Ferrari I would've kept both Leclerc and Sainz for next year. The lack of titles is not due to the drivers but because Red Bull is way ahead of the rest of the field. Unless Ferrari somehow manages to equalize in speed then they are bound for 2nd or 3rd position yearly.

    It must be an F1 thing. One thing happens ( usually unexpected ) and all of a sudden everything has changed. Sainz is the golden boy and Ferrari is BACK. "Too many things have to go right for Charles to win" Mu brother in Christ, that's EVERY driver thats not named Max Verstappen right now... Sainz included. Dont get me wrong, Saimz has been incredibly under rated and is an amazing driver, but all of the right things happened to him in all 3 of his wins. Ferrari got Leclerc's strategy wrong in Silverstone 2022, Verstappen had issues in Singapore and the car was not trimmed well for that track and Verstappen dnf'd in Australia. Yes it's true, Charles was not there to capitalize for Singapore and Australia, Sainz deserver those wins. But it would be stupid to ignore the sheer luck that played in. The last time Sainz beat Charles in quali was... Singapore. Charles had a 7 streak front row starts and in almost all of those races, Charles wouldve won if Max had any problems. Charles out perform Sainz about 5/6 races. The very few he doesnt just happens to be the ones Max's breaks decide to explode. You cannot ignore 90% of the data because the other 10% supports your narrative.

      @@thegridgab What on earth does that even mean? High maintenance? He does whatever Ferrari tells him to, and plays the team game when he can. He did his best to get Ferrari p2 in the constructors last year, and ultimately it was Carlos that let him down. When he has to let Carlos pass, he does, and even when hi fights Carlos, he keeps it clean. He's good post race, and doesn't need coaching, he's a great representative for Ferrari. What does "High maintenance" mean? That's not a valid point, especially considering, if anything, he is a low maintenance driver. Carlos' brother is likely a much bigger pain for Ferrari, good for Carlos but, if you ask me, he's "higher maintenance".
