- Where new F1 liveries are supposed to be striking and exciting, the offerings so far for the 2024 season have been the exact opposite. Due to having to save weight and maximize performance, we are seeing teams launch liveries based on a bare carbon fiber design. Stake, Alpine and HAAS have dropped some clangers but Mclaren and WIlliams have made this work for them so far.
It's unimaginative, unexciting and doesn't do anything to help the team on the branding level.
But we still have a few more launches to goto go so lets see what we've got so far!
(BTW it can be spelt both ways - fibre or fiber)

Just an opinion, FIA should fix the team colours.... like from the past Italy with red, France with light blue, Germany with silver and British with dark green or something like that sort😎

@@thegridgab it does. By miles. I fully understand the why on the other cars but they're starting to take the piss.
How about a rule change for the betterment of the sport that 75% of the car has to be painted.
They could give a weight allowance but that's ambiguous and someone will add a catering budget or at least a picnic hamper.
Fast reconiseble cars is the only measurement stick i hold against it. The current presented cars are reconisble, so who bothers?
Are they Sandbagging? Yes the Car is painted lol

If these days there are road cars coming with painted carbon fibre, couldn't F1 try the same?

As Ferrari has just red that gets a fail from me. I know it's history but it's boring and bland. If Merc has just black then that will get a no vote from me. Red Bull well they will look good but nothing exciting
