I like your numbers it looks realistic and can live comfortably in many aspects 😊
I've been to Rio De Janeiro twice on a solo trip and it was a wonderful experience. Sao Paulo looked more dangerous to me specially in the downtown area. You have to dress down when you go to Rio De Janeiro and be aware of your surroundings. I would always make sure that there were no people close to me when taking a picture. The second time I went to Rio De Janeiro I met a family on a boat ride from Brasilia that was also on vacations. They took me like family, and we ended up exploring Rio together for three days. I felt like a local and they even invited me to go visit them in Brasilia. Brazilians are so welcoming and nice people. The safest places that I know of in Brazil are Gramado and Canela. I can't wait to go back to Brazil in the near future.
Thumbs up 👍 Bushido
If it’s something you would want to do, I think people would love videos on life in Cebu city…Things to do, cost of living. Where the good gyms and protein is at, etc.
Mexico is fairly safe in most cities and rural areas. In Colombia, specifically Meddelin, you have to worry about the local people potentially targeting you if you are not cautious. The major issue is guys getting robbed via Tinder and dating apps in Colombia. In Mexico, that is very uncommon. The police can be corrupt in Mexico, usually wanting a bribe. You can pay your way out of the situation most of the time.
Going to bogota for 1-2 weeks soon, thank you for the advice! Will be staying with my girlfriend and her family but def leaving my phone at her place and not dressing flashy
East Asia and southeast asia are way better than south america when it comes to safety and social order. I dont plan to visit south america anytime soon. It's not worth gambling my life away. Once i experienced Asia my standards of acceptable travel has gone up. I want to walk at night n still feeling safe. Southasia people are also very relaxed and respectful.
What a way to show off lol.
just wait the king dollar dethrone with current two monetary system is diverging right now with "BRIC" system
Yes I'm already opted out of that system brother a long time ago
but my rent is 3k
My Budget is100K US I guess I'm crazy
For the month? I thought me spending $14,000 a month was a little high.
People are offended af by me spending 2900 bro imagine you 🤣
Sounds like your fragile ego is expensive
Realistic numbers…don’t forget your emergency fund!
What it cost you personally is what you are happy with. Ofcourse you can downsize your rent and live just as well and cut back on other expenses if you needed to. But as of now you are comfortable and happy. For me 2k is more than enough. I have seen others live on far less and live better than most in the west. Each to there own. Great video!
Your condo is from Airbnb?
3 month contract directly with building now, though air bnb it was around 1K
2k USD if you want to have fun and be comfortable
My budget's 5,000
I know your spending a lot buddy but what would that get you you in your homeland not even comparable you would probably just be just existing and thats not good for a young guy you wouldnt have no where near that lifestyle
Nonsense 2900 usd to stay in bangkok stuck in traffic. Can stay in America or even dubai
what utter nonsense!!, 35,000$ a year to Live in Thailand. You could live in the midwest and the south in the U.S for 3 grand a month. Garabge video.
True but completely different lifestyle
Yeah but he doesn't want to bang cows in the Midwest but actual women. Go take your pessimistic self away from this channel and watch something else.
You're living your dream live? Not life?
You going to muscle factory?
Fitness first bro
Most personalized budget I’ve ever seen on this topic.. totally useless!
This channel is about documenting one mans real experience not generalized information like everywhere else brother
Guess some people don’t understand what the “I” and “my dream life” mean in the video title.
2000 k okay for us gringo but if want comfortable 3 - 4 USD it easy man 🤪
Trust bro 🤣
Bangkok is not representative of most areas of Thailand where you can live a similar lifestyle at a fairly cheaper amount than you're currently spending.
Forsure brother even just outside the central area in BKK things can go down dramatically which is where I'm likely headed next
$600 a month ($20 a day) for food seems a little excessive in Thailand. Eating out for almost all my meals in the Asok/Thonglor/Ekkamai areas cost me about $350 for the month (gotta love that food court at Terminal 21). You're spot on with the rest of your budget. Thailand is not "dirt cheap" but it is really inexpensive relative to U.S./UK/Canadian prices. You really do get more bang for the buck in Thailand, especially with condo rentals (most of which come with gyms and other amenities).
200 grams of protien bro that's why most thai meals have about 20 grans
The condos are the best value out of everything forsure
@@BushidoNomadyour spot on mate. The food portions are too bloody small for the majority of foreigners unless your a stick
Send your Thai girl off to the local market to pickup chicken in bulk cheap.
@@BushidoNomad - Absolutely!
my hotel had a full wall mirror here there and every where, so I used my looks to leverage a proper human diet and exercize, went to 1 meal a day of protein, zero'd off sugar and seed oils, and in 2-3 weeks was at my level I liked in the mirror, so I just stayed with the 1 meal, walking and some private Muay Thai, very do-able, so my dopamine was a better body image as opposed to a hangover for 2 days lol
Sounds a lot but you get to live a dream life in my opinion so it's fair and worth it.
$3k/month is realistic. But i would include a top health insurance which would be around $200/month depends on your age. For living in BKK full time and wanting to also travel to nearby countries and stay in an even nicer place i would say around $5k/month for me and i don't drink. Also agree on education. Good quality Thai classes are expensive and stuff like Muay Thai is kind of expensive in Bangkok. I used to pay a lot for haircuts but then i found the best place for 120 baht. Get off Thong Lo BTS go down Soi Sukhumvit 55 and there is an old school barbershop that's been there for over 60yrs. It's on the same side as Amazon cafe place. FYI to put things in perspective your $3k/month all is still less than a regular apartment in Miami or Southern California.
I also like and enjoy to do housework like your Viet friend as I think it is a finishing to my exercizes, actually it is the reason for the gym, to do good detailed housework/fix-up and car detailing, I go over to my Thai gf in Nonthaburi and I clean floors and driveway, it is good pushing - pulling movements
21 for the algo, I just subbed on this video
Thank you bro
That’s a lot compared to Colombia. Is it worth there instead of Colombia to you? What was your average monthly in Cali?
1500 to 1750 if I had to guess
@@BushidoNomadless chance of being drugged and kidnapped in Bangkok.
Seems your budget is high but the good news is that you can downsize a bit and still be living a good life. I am surprised at your food ( for a single man) and gym budget, seems there is a lot room to economize there. I am also curious about your omission of the cost of companionship (not bar girls) or being in a relationship, certainly that has to be figured in, no?
Entertainment category for that
But look how your living for “minimum wage” it’s a lot but it’s worth it, instead of the vice versa of “it’s a lot and I can’t see how it’s worth it”
Exactly brother that was my conclusion at the end of the video. The value is insane
how miuch would the same lifestyle cost you in colombia?
To live in in the top centeral areas like that probably 2000-2500 bro if you go father out 1500-2000
Only if you are still alive to budget your living in Colombia 😁
$3,000 USD a month is reasonable but for me $2,000 USD a month is practical and comfortable and have a good life.
I agree That's my goal to get down to $2,000
@@BushidoNomad You are still young so enjoy life. It is short lol
It costs money to do stuff. Yeah you can pay $2k/month and do nothing much but after housing your really only have 250/week to work with. You still need a VISA, you want to do things, heath insurance is a good idea..., and you would also want to travel. I can live on $2k/month in America but that doesn't mean i'll be happy.
I hate clubs and bars. I feel very uncomfortable going there and always feel under pressure lol
These budget/monthly spending are useful but they are very personal and subjective to each individual's lifestyle.
Pattaya is the cheaper option, it’s a small town feel. So much better than people realize. Epic sunsets every night
I noticed the prices there even on the main strip seemed a lot better than bkk
Bangkok is big city prices. Overrated bullshit . Pattaya where im heading..
you get what you pay for
@@petepana1140 it's comparing apples to oranges
@@sokaiya1 you like oranges, you have basic needs , if you like to showoff then apples are for you
How do you earn money? Just curious
Become a lady boy for a few nights...
good overview, i spend similar as you
Appreciate you bro
I dont want to do the math, partying adds up fast lol. thanks for sharing
Big time bro
For similar city with infrastructure, Bangkok is not cheap but it is still considered as reasonable costs of living.
Bangkok is dirt cheap to me.
How much do you spend where you're living? Much respects!
I do 75k a month average over the year with a good quality of life while staying in a rented 3 bedroom house with a girlfriend, animals and a car payment. Could get this to 60k easily or 40k if paid off both house/car. Average an additional 15k a month over 5 years if you want the 5 year privilege visa. I live slightly out of a tourist town and rent prices are CHEAP. Girlfriend increases cost but also lowers it at the same time since she can shop local markets. It’s like a free pass into the local price system without needing to speak Thai or learn Thai culture. But imagine buying a condo then being able to live on 50k or 1.4K usd a month with a decent lifestyle. You just can’t get that in the USA even if you round up to 20k a year. 500k usd invested at 5% with 50-100k down on a condo and you’re set. (Extra 6k a year if you aren’t retirement age and don’t want to deal with an education visa) This also assumes you have incredible self control and discipline 😂 Also, don’t forget good insurance AND to go to your nearby hospital to register a hospital card before an emergency pops up. Every minute counts and if you’re registered and have insurance, you’re admitted quicker. If they don’t know if you have money/insurance, you’ll just sit there dying.
About $14,000 a month in Los Angeles when I am there. $5K a month in Thailand.
My wife and i live in a rural area of Thailand, we spend less than 500$ per month and no we're not poor, we just don't like to throw money down the drain.
@@sebastiannowak8443 I am sure your wife loves living on what is just a little more than minimum wage in Thailand.
@@brucef310 solar panels, own well, garden and orchard filled with food, gas powered car. You make wrong assumptions buddy, we're self employed. And yes, both wife and i love our way of life.
Do you ever plan to go back to Colombia? I have been there and had a great time but I didn’t like that I always was on alert for danger. I never feel that way in Thailand and thats the reason I will keep going back to Thailand.
I will forsure just waiting until the time is right although for long term living now I prefer thailand more
Yeah but you have not mentioned in order to live in Thailand you are semi neutered to speak out about what's really going on there, I think if you want to compare pedophilia Thailand is way ahead of Colombia.
I got married in Colombia. I didn't have any problems (minus getting handed some counterfeit money). A lot of it depends where you go. If you're into the nightlife and clubbing, you're much more prone to run into the wrong crowd.
Good to hear brother, yes nightlife in any city ups your risk big time
I am Colombian man , and not safe for Passaport bro!!
100% true. I can only share my experience in Mexico. And the daily crime for being robbed is reallly really low and I have been in different places for over 2 years except of north Mexico close to the border
Thanks for sharing brother!
Yeah and let's be clear and honest and not beat around the bush about WHO is doing it. It's OLD AND YOUNG white men from all over the Anglo countries. Look anywhere and you see they are the ones grabbing and feeling and acting the fool. You don't see black guys and Spanish guys getting in trouble like that so let's call it and SAY It and put the blame where it is. And it is more than a few bad apples. I'm saying this so you all won't allow other Caucasian men to come online and try to imply and talk sly and act like they don't want to IDENTIFY who these bad apples are. I don't like all of a sudden now that black men are adored and taking the action away from what white men thought was their unchallenged Disney world in Asia. Now that Passport bros are famous and they put swag on being one suddenly everyone is talking all vague about bad behavior while dealing in innuendo without saying they are trying to say black men suddenly are the problem. They don't have problems there. It is white guys who have always thought all women in Asia means they don't have any competition. Well they do. I've seen Asian women in Singapore last year on youtube talking about how white men suck because all they do is come there and act like idiots. Throw trash everywhere, say anything to anybody with no respect. So let's tell it and not be all vague about this subject. This was never an issue about making it bad for others until passport Bros became popular. Now at the same time after a million years of old white men slithering all over the Philippines and Thailand sleeping with under age children suddenly only ALL THE WHITE GUYS here on youtube want to start this narrative in order to make people think there is a connection to black men being in Thailand. They know just how white men play and they are already online putting everyone hip to all these sudden expat videos of white men caring about behavior in Asia just to deter anymore minorities from going there. You're not SLICK.
Philippines more descent and conservative especially people in provinces. And more virgins women in the Philippines 😂
Great people in the Philippines
