Yes, you are right, nowadays in Bangkok even nearly all restaurants and street vendors are Myanmar and Laos people just like in most Malls such as IconSiam the people who selling those street foods and all stuffs nearly all of them are Labours from Laos but all of them can speak Thai and if the tour ask them they probably say they are Thai. Many foreigners misunderstand, Thai Men and see women taking the central role, one should visit Muay Thai gym to see how strong Thai Men are and from my observation, Thai men are some of the toughest dudes on the planet, they have one of the highest pain tolerance level, you will never ever ever see a Thai guy scream in pain ever if you come across any accident or fighting or shooting, probably the reason how Muay Thai was created in Thailand, it is one of the toughest fighting style on the planet and you have to be strong to take the punch and a kick, people misunderstand the respect, softspoken tone, no beard, no tattoo of Thai men as weakness.

I’ll just say that those things you expected to see but didn’t, are 100% there. I promise. Just like anywhere else in the world, it all depends on the type of people you surround yourself with. I guess this is a good thing. You must just gravitate towards decent people. I believe for most people, this is one of those human nature and natural progression as we age and become wise. For most people, unfortunately not all. This will help increase the chances of avoiding those negative situations/experiences. I’ve visited and also know people that live in parts of world many refer to as a “no go zone” or just too dangerous. However, because of the people they socialize with and the activities they do, they NEVER see the things outsiders talk and complain about. I have observed 2 fights here and I pay attention to what goes on around me all the time, not being a racist but stating facts, I don't know what country they were from, but it was a Black involved in each incident--unlike what I observed many times in the USA, over many years, it was Thais ganging up on the Black guys, rather than Blacks ganging up on a victim. I don't think the Thais understand how effective their security forces are, on their borders, in their towns, etc., fuck around and find out is my observation--they are not restricted by WOKE Bullshit like in the USA.
For me as a man who has a job about construction. For the woman at those working sites 90% of them came with her husbands from the neighbors countries my friend and in reality in most construction site we hire just a man because it's not a girl job but they always come with the girls and kids in their teams and we always let those girls and their kids living with her husband in our site just for free at our sites and we always helped them by giving them a little job that the woman could do there at the construction site hope they have more money for their family. just some teams that they came here like family teams but all of them incluced their girls could do everything just like a man and ofcourse those trams are more expensive to hire. And a lot of time we have a very high risk while we do not know because most of their girls always came here illegal way like 90% of them because if they came here the right way they probably could find another jobs here in Bangkok for a woman not that hard if they do not picky to choose the job.

And for the "Thai Culture" since the ancient time only the man have to work my friend and woman just being a good housewife and do nothing at home and just cook a good food for her husband, we Thai have a special word called "แม่ศรีเรืิอน"(Mae-Sri-ruan) which in Thai means "The Domestic Goddess". Yes, this is a Thai culture that every Thai know my friend but the women in this generation many of them are trying to work hard too it's because these days a lot people are talking about the Women's rights problems so this generation you probably see a lot of woman work hard too but as a man you still have to give them money and look after her too because it's our culture. And it's the worse case in Thailand my friend if it's the case that the only women working hard and the Thai Man just do nothing because it's our Thai culture and people would banned you and we Thai people called them "แมงดา"(Mangda) which means the horseshoe crab which in bad thai word means a Pimp. You could found those guys just around the tourist areas my friend they're very rare here in the city that people do normal jobs because people would banned them and we Thai noone accept those kind of guys my friend. That's why normally you could found them only at the tourists areas or red light districts that has a lot of prostitutes or at the tourists districts like Pattaya where they could find the girls they want because a lot of Thai girl who works there are ok to live with those guys and also a lot of tourist for them to spot too. But in the city? It's really hard for them to live because the social here do not accept them my friend.
