The guys you are talking about, that moved product on Sukhumvit road, were also running girls that they shipped in and who had to pay off their flights and keep, so basically working for free! I stay in Bangkok with my wife every year and we have not used a taxi there for a long time. If you are near the skytrain and MRT, you are mostly covered. We also use the boats on the canals! All far cheaper and no hassle! Keep up the good work and don't let a few bad apples spoil your fun!
You are spot on...I have lived in Bangkok for almost 2 years and this is my favorite large city in the world. The only issues I have had are a few male taxi drivers pulling the no change BS.
Some places in Thailand Thais offer you drugs, but they dont have drugs, they are connected to the police and try to get money out of you. I was at a restaurant in Phuket and the waiter asked us if we wanted some drugs, I turned him down. Right after I saw him talking to a police officer on a bike.

Yes I agree, it's because the people here and the Thai government never seriously solve those things about those bad foreigners my friend. Just like I just heard from the news that nowadays there are a lot of foreigners that lived in Thailand long term and started to be Mafia at those areas and foreigner gangs problem around the tourist areas like Pattaya, Phuket etc.
For the battery problem, I guessed she just distorted probably because I just heard from the news that there's just a power bank exploded case on the plane just a few days ago. Sorry about that my friend🙏💕💕

Air quality and no easy visas are the main concerns
Typical scams in Thailand is that Taxi drivers drive you to a restaurant and the prices are 100 times more expensive than a normal restaurant, also tailorshop scams. The police can be very corrupt, and try to get money out of you. But mostly its a good experience.
I find it funny that people would care more about you calling out the Black Axe especially if you said they were African instead of the actual people selling the drugs.
That is why I love living here in Thailand and not having to deal with people like that in the west.

There is so many stupid for buy gold and accept dollars in thailand ....
A lot of the issues faced by foreigners are (a) in the red light areas (b) when it is obvious you are new or a tourist. Immigration is not really under control as just like in Europe muslims from Syria etc have grown in number over the last 6 years or so and in some areas have driven thai food sellers out of food courts by complaining about the smell of pork which is the most commonly eaten meat in Thailand. There are a lot of mosques both old and new and the call to prayer is played deafeningly loud in some places. Propaganda. There have been terror attacks in Bangkok and there is an ongoing problem in the south.

Thailand has a huge immigration problem especially from Cambodia and Burma mostly illegal.
Human trafficking and drugs are facilitated by the police and other government officials.
You need to get upto speed with what is really happening here.
I hear you brother, but I think thailand is handling immigration much better than for example canada which is completely collapsed due to immigration and US with a completely open boarder. Thailand consciously tries to protect its people by restrictioning land ownership & employment to foreigners. Geographically Thailand is in a much more complicated area for immigration problems and they seem to be handling it much better
@@BushidoNomad I am from Canada too, aka New Mumbai. Just spent almost two months in Thailand. In many ways its like a 3rd world country in Canada now. I did not expect Thailand to be so much more advanced in certain areas compared to us.
