Uncle Birds BBQ
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 9 ส.ค. 2020
Just a guy that was born and raised in Kentucky with Barbecue and Bourbon in my blood. I started this channel to share my knowledge and love of backyard BBQ because nothing brings people together like good food. I'm from Kentucky so my main focus is Chicken, Pork, and delicious sides. Hell, I didn't eat brisket (other than corned beef) until I moved to Nashville in 1994 😂. It's my goal to show you easy step-by-step ways to cook better BBQ so that you can enjoy time with your friends and family without having to spend a ton of money. I firmly believe anybody can learn to cook great food, you just need to practice. Remember you weren't born walking, if you can learn to walk you learn to cook. 👍🏾
Charcoal Grilling School: Uncle Bird's Charcoal BBQ tips for beginners.
In this video, I will teach you everything you need to know to get started with charcoal grilling. We will cover everything from choosing the right charcoal to setting up your grill.

You will eat zee bugs.
And you will like them too 😁
If you’re not able to brine, can you inject and maybe put a butter compound under the skin and cook the same way you did? Also, I have a slow n sear, would you use that or the snake method? Appreciate your help. Thanks

Just so you guys know, beside being used as the best natural red die, this insect is also a huge pest on fruits and other plants. So, consumption of this food die in practice put this pest of an insect in good use.
💯
Excellence
Thanks for watching!

Indeed, they are called Cochineals, the 16th century began with the Julian year 1501 (represented by the Roman numerals MDI) and ended with either the Julian or the Gregorian year 1600 (MDC), depending on the reckoning used (the Gregorian calendar introduced a lapse of 10 days in October 1582).[1] History: The 16th century is regarded by historians as the century which saw the rise of Western civilization. The Renaissance in Italy and Europe saw the emergence of important artists, authors and scientists, and led to the foundation of important subjects which include accounting and political science. Copernicus proposed the heliocentric universe, which was met with strong resistance, and Tycho Brahe refuted the theory of celestial spheres through observational measurement of the 1572 appearance of a Milky Way supernova. These events directly challenged the long-held notion of an immutable universe supported by Ptolemy and Aristotle, and led to major revolutions in astronomy and science. Galileo Galilei became a champion of the new sciences, invented the first thermometer and made substantial contributions in the fields of physics and astronomy, becoming a major figure in the Scientific Revolution in Europe. Spain and Portugal colonized large parts of Central and South America, followed by France and England in Northern America and the Lesser Antilles. The Portuguese became the masters of trade between Brazil, the coasts of Africa, and their possessions in the Indies, whereas the Spanish came to dominate the Greater Antilles, Mexico, Peru, and opened trade across the Pacific Ocean, linking the Americas with the Indies. English and French privateers began to practice persistent theft of Spanish and Portuguese treasures. This era of colonialism established mercantilism as the leading school of economic thought, where the economic system was viewed as a zero-sum game in which any gain by one party required a loss by another. The mercantilist doctrine encouraged the many intra-European wars of the period and arguably fueled European expansion and imperialism throughout the world until the 19th century or early 20th century. *History*: The Reformation in central and northern Europe gave a major blow to the authority of the papacy and the Catholic Church. In England, the British-Italian Alberico Gentili wrote the first book on public international law and divided secularism from canon law and Catholic theology. European politics became dominated by religious conflicts, with the groundwork for the epochal Thirty Years' War being laid towards the end of the century. In the Middle East, the Ottoman Empire continued to expand, with the sultan taking the title of caliph, while dealing with a resurgent Persia. Iran and Iraq were caught by a major popularity of the Shia sect of Islam under the rule of the Safavid dynasty of warrior-mystics, providing grounds for a Persia independent of the majority-Sunni Muslim world.[2] In the Indian subcontinent, following the defeat of the Delhi Sultanate and Vijayanagara Empire, new powers emerged, the Sur Empire founded by Sher Shah Suri, Deccan sultanates, Rajput states, and the Mughal Empire[3] by Emperor Babur, a direct descendant of Timur and Genghis Khan.[4] His successors Humayun and Akbar, enlarged the empire to include most of South Asia. Japan suffered a severe civil war at this time, known as the Sengoku period, and emerged from it as a unified nation under Toyotomi Hideyoshi. China was ruled by the Ming dynasty, which was becoming increasingly isolationist, coming into conflict with Japan over the control of Korea as well as Japanese pirates. In Africa, Christianity had begun to spread in Central Africa and Southern Africa. Until the Scramble for Africa in the late 19th century, most of Africa was left uncolonized. Can be found what you eat: It's regularly red velvet cake or your eating Jello and red stuff. A primarily sessile parasite native to tropical and subtropical South America through North America (Mexico and the Southwest United States), this insect lives on cacti in the genus Opuntia, feeding on plant moisture and nutrients. The insects are found on the pads of prickly pear cacti, collected by brushing them off the plants, and dried. Edit: I hope this helps so yeah. :/
Super awesome!

Yes!
I like the idea of using a split piece of oak (I'm in Florida) for a dual-purpose separator.
Hey you kinda look like longbeachgriffy
🤣🤣🤣🤣
i honestly dont care as long as it tastes good and doesnt make me sick. i eat my cereal with cow secretions every day, too
Me either.
I know this video is 2yrs old, but I had to comment. You sold me with the Kraft BBQ sauce. I have huge nostalgia for the pork chops and chicken my dad would grill up from time to time. Never sauced it at the end. He just brushed a thin sauce on a couple times NEAR the end. That was in the 80's. Only this year I asked him what the sauce was. "Just Kraft Original BBQ, mixed with a bit of Lawry's Seasoned Salt and thinned with a splash of vinegar." 😂😂😂
That is awesome! Thanks for watching.
swap out the lard and liquid smoke with some smoked pork drippings from the last bbq pork shoulder or pork butt.
That's a great suggestion. I always keep all the fat mixed in with the pork shoulder. That stuff is liquid gold.
I never did this before and i got a 10 lb bag to prep for several meals im planning on some chicken salad and some shredded chicken with the thighs and then just doing, some bbq legs and fried legs and i didnt watch anything till now thinking about it i did pretty good. What ik wondering avout is mine had more bone down on the end where i guess the hip would be or rib idk chicken anatomy but i wasn't sure if i should cut that off. My knife also awful extremely dull
I normally trim anything that sticks out. Need to be aerodynamic so it don't dry out. Get you a Rada knife sharpener they're cheap and work. I use min all the time when I don't want to pull out my belt sander.
@@UncleBirdsBBQ okay thank you
this is nasty...
😂😂😂😂
Awesome video
Thanks for watching!
Italians 🤬
you must have been robert downey jrs vocal coach for Tropic Thunder 😂
I wish 😂😂😂😂
This video was incredible. Also love the choice of tools -- stuff you'd not think like the bucket and cooler that were perfect for the job.
Glad you liked it!
My friend, my brother, my neighboor. I am salivating over those green beans! Love 'em! Got to try that. ❤
The recipe will always work, some people like a little less salt so may have to adjust for your audience.
Made the process a whole lot easier. Thanks!
Glad it helped!
I eat honey too So it's okay👌
Yeah it's fine. Hell I eat chittlins. 😂
Great video brother. I just subbed to your channel.
Thanks for the sub!
These are so underrated. I love smoking leg qtrs
Feeds a lot of folk cheap. 😁
Hey what's up Uncle Bird, It's your boy Uncle Tim. I was watching you demonstrate on Barbecuing Chicken Breast with the Bone In. I really like this method and I have people in my family that eat White meat. After doing all the Prepping When you put the Chicken Breast on the Grill How many minutes to grill the chicken Breast? please let me know and I also want to know if you happen to have a video on Barbecuing Chicken or Ribs on Direct heat? BTW Uncle Bird, I still cook those Southern Style Green Beans and they are Fya. Look forward to receiving your response God bless you!
I been a little sick, but the breasts don't normally take more than 45 minutes. Just use an instant read thermometer and pull them before they hit 175 degrees.
Look up what the secretions are , literally just acids , it’s fine
Thanks for watching.
Just made this and that was some of the best chicken I've ever had in my life.
You the neighborhood chicken champ now.
Keep in mind that Perdue chicken leg quarters already have some salt in them. Check the nutrition label on the back.
They do but I still put them in the brine. Most of the salt is poured down the drain.
