    One Gallon Smoking Brine Recipe
    Step 1. Pour in one cup of cold water into the 4 Cup Pyrex/Glass measuring cup.
    Step 2. Use any plain salt and pour into the water until the water level reaches 1 ½ cups.
    Step 3. Pour the saltwater slurry into the 1-gallon container, fill to the 1-gallon mark, and stir until it the salt has dissolved. If you feel the need to throw some money down the sink. Now is the time to do it. Go ahead and add your fruit juices, soy sauce, and herbs, etc.
    Your brine is now ready to use.

    I saw on your Facebook page that you brined and baked a chicken. It looked amazingly tasty. What would be the ratio of brine for like 2lb of chicken wings?

      I use the same brine for everything except beef, that way the only additional variable to account for is time. But for the wings about 4-8 hours depending on the size. I prefer to use Jumbo wings because they hold up better to the smoking process in my experience.

      @@ezell8311 I built my first cinder block pit when I was thirteen, but I was more interested in video games then. I started cooking on my own in college after I realized I couldn't dance, sing, or wasn't really great at sports. ,🤣
