The Easy Way to clean Chicken Thighs

  • Chicken thighs are one of the best pieces of chicken to put on the grill. They're cheap, juicy, and delicious as long as you trim and prep them properly. This video will show how to trim and prep your chicken thighs using a 6 inch-Boning Knife. You can then cook your chicken thighs using your method of choice but the grill is my favorite. 😋 Comment below.

    never seen that dricar thing? does it preforate meat? what is it's function?

      It's a meat tenderizer that severs the muscles fibers so the moisture doesn't squeeze out when the meat is cooked. It also makes your brine more effective.

      thanks, never seen in the store, maybe I will make my own with some small nails or something, Are you a chef for a living? I love cooking, just not the clean up so try to grill when weather is good! your chicken looked so yummy! Thanks for the tips, never knew the thin meat/fat would dry out the rest.

    How come you don't trim the fat on the underside?

      The fat keeps the meat juicy. I cook hot and fast, and the fat will always render out. Plus it's easier and faster to clean and prep.

      You're right it does. I normally save up the skin and fat and render it all down. I use the grease to fry chicken and eat the crispy skin after salting it. 😋😋😋😋

    The CDC says do not wash your chicken ..to cook it And use a meat thermometer to 175 degrees

      I rinse all my chicken before cooking it, however I remove all my dishes from my prep area and don't having the water running like it's a a firehose trying to put out a house fire.

      Idk where you read this. But washing off the blood it's sitting in is a must. Also it's 165 and it must stay there for 15 seconds

      Fuck the CDC!! I have to clean the slime and fat off of my chicken at home. Some restaurants don't do a good enough job of cleaning chicken thighs!!
