If you like seesaw and push and pull in board games then you must try Wendake. Add in the New Allies expansion and it gives you even more of it. Fantastic gameplay!!! Concordia and Gugong are among my favorites also and I have Village big box on my shelf still in shrink so I need to get it on the table soon.

Good to see a top 10 that isn't just "games out of the BGG top 100" that I feel most of them end up being!

I also bought a used copy of Village based on Fr. Greg's recommendation - I can't wait to check it out! Heaven and Ale is another one I bought used just recently. I wonder if he has tried Monasterium, and if so, what his thoughts are? Great list!

I havnt played a lot of heavy euros, but I've watched a ton of board game videos over the years and still havnt heard of many of these. Where should one start with heavy euros?

Father Greg, we should game together. My top 5: 1. Concordia 2. Glen More 3. Village 4. Messina 5. Gugong. Love all other games on your list (Merchants were mediocre experience for me, solid 6/10). But the rest... Now I'm even more confused you didn't like Keyflower.

Love your vibe! Another fun video. Father Greg's list is pretty awesome. There are definitely some of my favorites here as well. Especially Concordia. Like Dan, I too went through that phase of buying heavy Euros and then not playing them and ultimately getting rid of them. Praga was one of those. Now I am wishing that I kept that one.

Everytime i watch a video from yall i am entertained, if i was living in the states i believe i would enjoy going to father Greg's church on a sunday.

You played some really great games in May! Praga and Paladins are both among my favourites. Praga definitely gets better with more plays. There's a pretty high skill ceiling. Greg, I think you'll enjoy Scholars. It did take a few plays to click for me though. New York Zoo, Quest for El Dorado and 7 Wonders Duel are all ones we really enjoy as well. You guessed right Dan on the board games for the garage sale. I'm glad they found good homes! Our plays for May were Slay the Spire board game, which does a fantastic job of implementing the video game, with the added plus of having multiplayer. The only other game we played in May was Dune Imperium: Uprising, which we liked a lot. We like it better than the original, mainly because we found the cards were more universally useful. In the base game, it wasn't uncommon that the imperium row would be clogged with cards that noone really wanted, but we never found that to be an issue with Uprising. We tried it with the expansions as well. Rise of Ix was too much. Immortality integrated really well, but our favourite way to play was without any expansions.

Creature Comforts always seems like it's made so that parents can guide kids through their turns and make sure they don't cheat. It's good, but it's always long for what it is if people cant just run through their turns themselves.

Put your friendship over your work relationship if something were to happen because thats whats more important.

We’ve been playing Viscounts, Concordia and Rats of Wistar. The one game you mentioned that we enjoy is Quest for El Dorado. We do get that one to the table once in awhile.

Ha…I felt the same way about Marrakesh that you described from someone else. Was it fun? I like the mini games in Trajan MUCH better, which I feel is superior. I could care less if I play Marrakesh again. Feels like a bunch of Feld B-sides. And did I hear St. Ann mentioned at the beginning? That’s my church in Marietta, GA. ❤ Where are you all at again? So cool seeing a priest on here. Love it and the channel has the perfect mix of banter and reviews.

TAC = Pegs and Jokers, I think... or replace cards with dice and you have Aggravation. Fun family game if you can handle being smacked around.

Your videos always cheer me up! Are you both on BGG and if so, what are your usernames?

I have played 7/10 of the games on your top 10 and I loved all of them except for Elysium. I don't know why but the core concept of that game just did not resonate with me. I think pinning it down I just felt like I didn't have any interesting decisions to make or a strategy to build of my own. It always felt that value drafting was always the best option without a lot of room for creativity. It might just be that I have not played it enough times, but I think I would much rather play "It's a Wonderful World" if I want a good card drafting game. All in all I would also give your list an A, just thankful it doesn't have "Isle of Cats" on it 😜

A 30minutes top ten video without chapter bookmarks?!

One thing I love about Tiletum, is how fast the game is for a Euro. Feels (and is) packed with things to do and great decisions but we can get a 3player game done in a bit over an hour. Pretty rare for a game in that weight class. Great video!

Love your videos; your friendship shines through the jibes, digs and laughter. I was pleasantly surprised to see TILETUM at no.1 I love this game. I did some graphic shenanigans to make a set of different coloured action chits to help track the more complex turns more accurately- works a treat. You can purchase small wooden disks and either paint them matching colours or get someone to tweak the colours on a phot editor and paste them on.

At our house Elysium got voted out of our library. Was too much for my kid.

Having some graphical overlay with the game title you’re talking about would be super helpful.

Tzolkin is just lots of tracks with random lucky building tiles. Whoever gets the feed 3 people free tile is a huge favorite to win.

I wish Elysium got an expansion. Another two or three factions would have really kept the game from getting tired.

Two of my favorite peas! Lol You guys are my pick me up of the day! The only game I’ve played on this list is Its a Wonderful World which is a great game. Now I’m interested in looking up Tiletum to see if it’s something I would like.

San Juan is a great card game! I haven't played it in a while, but talking about it really makes me want to get it out. Totally want to get Vale of Eternity, Knarr and Nova Roma. Glad to hear that you liked them. I just picked up Trambahn, a really nice 2 player card game that has simple rules but some interesting and thinky decision space within. Love your guy's banter... always look forward to seeing your videos.b
