Love your energy and your love for each other. I love board games and hearing people talk about them but your channel is always, always very entertaining and puts me in a great mood. Thank you so much. ❤
I get such a kick out of your bantering! Greg's spicy commentary is great, collar or not! Thanks for entertaining me yet again. I played caverna cave vs cave (solo), rise of tribes, ginkopolis and probably some more but can't remember.
Love the videos. I must say I really enjoy Father Greg's commentary. you guys are a great duo. October was a good month for us. The wife and I have played: Radlands (one of our favourite 2 person quick games), Wingspan, Dune Imperium (multiple times, a favourite), Concordia - another fave, Everdell, Pandemic Legacy. We played with family: Just One, Monikers, Pandemic, Catan. Great month of gaming.
Thank you! That is a great month! Dune Imperium is so good and the rest are also solid choices. I only played Concordia once, but would love to play that more :)
Love the video. I appreciate that you discuss older titles as well as newer games. The banter is really entertaining, especially the bit about Palaces of Carrara, poor Mary 😂 My best experience of October was a small game that I hadn’t played in 2+ years, Bruxelles 1897. A fun once in a while game for me.
Welcome To is fun. That reminds me that I need to get Welcome to the Moon back to the table soon. We still haven't tried all the different sheets. Sushi Go (and Sushi Roll) are always fun. I think I might prefer Sushi Roll, because you know what dice are coming your way (but not what they will roll), which allows a bit more strategizing. We didn't get a lot of variety of games for October. 5 plays of Age of Innovations, which we absolutely loved (I prefer it to Gaia Project at this point, and GP is one of my favourites), and then 1 play of Hallertau with Mary and Dallas. Online, I've been playing a lot of Heat, which I've been really enjoying.
Age of Innovation is set up downstairs for me right now! I have played it once properly so far and am in the middle of a “two handed” solitaire game. I love it too!!
Literally just finished playing dune with both expansions tonight, lost on a tie breaker of spice! Such a good, tense (in a good way) game! I've never played without rise of ix before and ever since immortality came out, we haven't played without that either, both expansions are fantastic. Personally, I'd wait to add immortality until you've explored ix so you can appreciate each one more and have the opportunity to explore and appreciate each. I hope you have fun however you play!
Awesome, yeah, I'm glad I had a good 10+ plays over the year before immortality, it added a fresh new way to explore, get points, and build our decks which I have enjoyed immensely. 2 out of the 3 friends I've played with have done very little with immortality and mostly ignore it besides an opportunity to get some extra cards, but the other 2 of us definitely use it more for going up the Beatle track to get points and extra boosts here and there. Excited to hear how it goes for you once you put them together!
Did you ever get the chance to try Code of Nine? I couldn't help but think it might be a version of the game you are desiring when talking about Point Salad.
@@PunchboardParty for sure, it's another layer but each game the different tokens and things you have are worth different amounts of points (sometimes negative) depending on those hidden conditions.
I only played Seeland at 2 players and it was very long, too much for my taste. Did you played 2 players ? I think the end game trigger when there is no tiles left so the more player the faster no? Great video and thanks :)
Just two players, yes. We played in less than an hour. Probably closer to 45. The game ends when one of the stacks of tiles (seeds or blueprints) is depleted. I found it snappy all things considered :)
Haha maybe! I think in point cities you spend your resources and have permanent resources to apply to your buildings. The builders you always have to assign your workers seperately but you always get them back??
@@PunchboardParty What you say Daniel? You want a piece of this?!? Let me go outside and practice falling down alot and I'll see you out there in FIVE MINUTES!!😂
So great to see Fr Greg. The channel wouldn’t be the same without him. Hip hip hooray. And I appreciate the collar.
I agree 😂

Thank you! We enjoy it too (no matter what Fr. Greg says 😂)!
For the record, Greg, you’re not just one of my favourite priests, you’re one of my favourite people
Love the enthusiasm and fun you two always bring to your videos.
Thank you!!!

"Temerity" - Yep, you're a real priest.
Great video! Love your enthusiasm! You are becoming one of my favourite board game channels.
Thank you!!!
Your videos make me contemplate a move out to Saskatoon
WE WOULD LOVE THAT 💖💖💖💖

😂 Yes, we give Mary a hard time for sure!
Bruxelles looks good once you get past the graphic design :)
Don’t ask Mary about the last play of the Palaces of Carrara. I ended it quickly and won. Dave’s theory is now 50/50

I’m glad he let me rile him up! 🤣
Entertaining as always, thanks for sharing, so much variety! I love that your game group is replaying games based on everyone's picks!
Thank you! Yeah, it’s fun! We meet again tomorrow, we’ll probably start busting out some expansions for Dune 😀

O yeah! That does have that element. Hmmm I think the hidden nature of the scoring throws it off a little bit??
