This was such a pleasure to watch as it brought back all the good memories of my whirlwind visit to Saskatoon! Thanks Daniel and Fr. Greg for all the great games, I had a blast! Goblin Vaults was likely the only miss for me (too clever for what it provides). Already looking forward to when we can play games together again, and hoping it's soon!
Orleans is such a great game. I need to get it to the table again soon. I've been tempted multiple times by the cooperative expansion (Invasion) sitting on the shelf at Amazing Stories, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. The intrigue board from the other expansion really improves the game. The Deluxe version of Castles of Burgundy is fantastic! I almost didn’t back it, but my wife insisted, and I'm glad she did. It really elevates the experience, both visually and practically. We haven’t tried the new Vineyard expansion yet, but I’ve heard good things about it. Plays for August: On Mars, Viticulture Essential Edition, Wayfarers of the South Tigris, Viscounts of the West Kingdom, Legacy of Yu (I played a campaign with all 3 difficulty “modifiers” and just barely pulled out a win 7-6), Space Station Phoenix, Underwater Cities. Favourite of the month by far was On Mars. It was our first play (and our first Lacerda) and we both absolutely loved it. I had heard so much about how heavy it is, and was surprised that it wasn't that bad, probably because I was expecting so much worse. We ended up playing 4 times in a few days, and it’s in both our top 5 of all time now. I’m excited to try some more Lacerdas.
Legends of Andor is my favorite game of all time. It is a very good game in my opinion, but the memories we have of the adventures we've won and lost make it amazing for our family👍
Chomp was a fun new game....some of my faves played multiple times: Fantastic Factories, Dice Hospital, Earth, and Gizmos Gizmos Gizmos. Thanks Gentlemen.
O yes! The voting was very cool 😎 added just the right amount tension to each round, hoping to secure certain laws that you would work towards during the round :)
Yeah ....bland-ass Euros!! Sounds like heaven. Now I'm looking forward to Dave's top ten....plus a little more eye candy wouldn't hurt. 😅 I've had Khora on my SOS for a while, you're making me want to get it played.
Great Job Guys. Always love the energy & chemistry!
Thank you! Glad we are not the only ones who are entertained :)

I miss you so much!!! It was so fun! We’ll have to figure out a Gen con strategy or something 😁

You have me soooo excited to try On Mars. That is probably the Lacerda title that has me most interested :)
And that intro about my top 10 did indeed make me blush... Well, as they say, flattery gets you everywhere. 😄
It sure does!! 😂

I am very excited to play it and I am so happy that there so many versions of it if it turns out to be a winner :)

Still want to play Gizmos! Love earth!
Lots of good games in your lists. 👍 Did you like the voting on new laws in “Lancaster”? I hope to play “Beer & Bread” someday.
