Fr. Greg and Daniel sit down with Scott to enjoy his selection of top 10 board games ever! Wat do you think of Scott's list? Let us know down below! Music by creatormix.com
Greetings from Kitchener -Waterloo, my best friend Josh is from Stratford ;) enjoyed your opinions on your board games, Millennium Blades is super underrated, glad to hear you guys talk about it !
I've always been intrigued by Twilight imperium, but I'm afraid it might be too big of a game for the other players around gère. Also interested in Roll for the galaxy.
Thanks for great video and congratulations and God's blessings! Enjoy the special weekend. Been going to Gen Con 15 years and watching TH-cam boardgame videos all that time and never heard of City of Horrors! I must investigate! I actually love Dead of Winter! Take care.
Dead of Winter is good! I was just bugging Scott because he called City of Horror Dead of Winter by accident off camera and he does not like Dead of Winter
In Dead of Winter I have a bad habit of ruining the game for everyone by pursuing my personal secret objective too intensely resulting in everyone losing...😢
@@IceWeasel007 Brings up a funny mental picture of you holding Klask in one hand and TI4 in the other (don't do deadlifts like this at home kids!) trying to decide which one you like better. "Hmm, accessible family dexterity action or strategic marathon interstellar space opera simulation? How to choose? This would be so much easier if they weren't so similiar!"
Ok...I just have to say this. And I'm GOING to say it! :D: You all three need to play Race for the Galaxy and try it at two players. I've played Roll a few times and it's fine. I get the same feeling though halfway through the game when people show their dice and I'm like "That seems almost like a perfect roll!". None of that is in Race. It is very much the same basic concepts, but much tighter in a good way. With two players, you get to pick TWO actions to do on your turn, so that level of "what is my opponent going to do" increase GREATLY. The base game is ALL you need as the expansions mostly make new ways to play that might be ok, but they make it different and this one is a masterpiece and top 20 game for me. It is also on BGA and does help because it explains the iconography which is the one stumbling block to the game. But I can't stress enough: just get this one. Scott, you will love it...Daniel: you will grok it...and Fr. Greg: you'll have it! :D :D
@@IceWeasel007 awesome! I'm glad you like it! If you are like me...this will be one of the few games where more and more strategies will unfold and the game gets more exciting with more experience. Even when you get your teeth kicked in with these professional players that I always seem to get matched with. It's not uncommon to see people with 1000s of plays of it.

Daniel at the beginning of the videos is like Lucy and the football in Charlie Brown! :D

Hello from St. Marys, Scott!
Hi! 👋

I hate with a capital HATE real time games as well, but your number 8 is pure fire...I love it!
Yeah!!
I haven’t played any of those games, but I recently got Dale of Merchants and I’m very excited to try it out!
Probably the most accessible game on this list! Besides Klask I suppose… I hope you enjoy Dale of Merchants!!
Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Okay, Scott, be honest, did you put Twilight Imperium 4 right after Klask for the sheer tonal and game length whiplash of going from one to the other?
No 😊 pure coincidence! They really couldn't be more different from each other, could they? 😂

Haha great recommendation! I have always considered buying this one!
@@PunchboardParty definitely do it! There is so much game there
Thanks, will give it a go on BGA!
Played Race for the Galaxy a number of times now on BGA, and yes it does have much of the same anticipation. Thanks for the recommendation!
