San Juan is a great card game! I haven't played it in a while, but talking about it really makes me want to get it out. Totally want to get Vale of Eternity, Knarr and Nova Roma. Glad to hear that you liked them. I just picked up Trambahn, a really nice 2 player card game that has simple rules but some interesting and thinky decision space within. Love your guy's banter... always look forward to seeing your videos.b

Not a lot of plays in April. I oversaw a 5 player game of Quacks of Quedlinburg with some friends not very familiar with board games. Everyone seemed to have a good time. Also started playing Slay the Spire with my brother. It was great fun. It really captures the video game, but with the ability to play multiplayer, which adds some interesting strategy.
Blood of an Englishman! I forgot about that one. Daniel I am glad you are punching above your weight…it’s how one grows as a gamer. And Fr Greg was right, I traded Splendor for Newton. It was the best trade in the world.

I'm glad you got to play San Juan! I have both San Juan and Race...and I love them both. San Juan is more relaxed and I like the role selection in it
