BEGINNER handgun training. How to start!
Here are some beginning demonstrations for how an inexperienced gun owner can begin practicing for a defensive situation.
Paper plates can be substituted for the silhouettes and for the steel plates.
We regularly use regular old blue masking tape to paste up our bullet holes on our paper targets.
We give each bullet a total possible score of five, and then divide the time by the total score after subtractions.
so on the silhouettes,
A zone hit=5
B zone hit=4
c zone hit=3
miss = 0
steel targets are hit or miss
three targets two shots each gives a total possible score of 30
time to shoot divided by score yields a good metric for tracking your performance and improvement. You want to lower your overall number.
If anyone is interested, I can do a video about our scores and how to score if anyone is confused.

Hey, if you took that leather rig and got it wet, put your pew pew in a freezer bag then put it in the holster, then use your thumbs to press form the leather around the pew pew, you'll have a form fitted holster after it dries! Gotta make sure you cut your fingernails short or else they will gouge the leather. Ask me how I know :) it works amazingly

I hadn't ran this 6 lb axe in a few months. Got spoiled on my little short handled 5 pounder. So there's some chunks missing from when I started this job just not this particular tree.

You run a 42 or 36?
36 unless I absolutely must run bigger. But these trees are a long ways from being big enough to have a post in the middle. A little over 6 foot is about the limit of a 36. I can still block them out and cut the bigger ones, but if it's a steady diet, I'll move up in size

Goggles are a must and ear protection, my friend was a logger he is legally blind from the saw dust any eye Dr will tell you, it not uncommon for your type of hop PLEASE WEAR GOGGLES, and ear protection if you want to hear your wife and children say I love you,,,, just saying
