I lived and worked in South Carolina for 14 years. I do not know anything about the business referenced. We loved the people and places we came to know as home. My son earned an engineering scholarship there. The scholarship allowed him to choose any in State non private college. We lived 12 miles from Clemson University. They have a fantastic engineering program. My son refused to enroll there because of the experience of a few of his peers that falls under the same category as what you described. I was proud of my son for his stance even though it caused him grief and drama. I am prouf of you , Uncle Phil, for your demonstration, position, and realization in regards to the situtation you have commented on, in your well spoken, thoughtful video. I truly hope it does not cause you grief and drama. Peace & Blessings - 3RTHS3RVNTXX aka C.W. Parks

I’m gonna wait for the case to settle before I take a hard stance. Especially since the no evidence has been published. Anyone can make false claims unfortunately, and psa’s move to bump it up to the feds seems like they’re calling a bluff IMO. If it is true though. I’d hope psa does some serious cleaning house. Cause that would be horrible behavior.

Putting myself in their shoes, if that was the claim, I would do anything in my power to make it right, and I would TALK OPENLY about the situation if I was innocent, the same as I would talk openly if my company was guilty or if I had to settle out of court, etc. But that is just me. But, similarly, I won't be associating until this is cleared up.

I agree with everything you’ve said man, hell I’ve even seen a noose made out of rebar and an oxy torch. Unfortunately racism is EVERYWHERE, I’ve experienced racism against myself every where from school to work because of my race. I personally won’t be using anything from PSA anytime soon. Thank you for the videos you make man, and this was a really good insightful one❤

I just can't believe how many times I saw that comment about not being able to tie one using an air hose. What a sad state of things. I thought we were moving past that one thing man.
Sadie and I were just talking about that. I just found out like two days ago that some guys at the mill about 12 years ago pissed in my drink because they didn't like me.
I'm a bastard in the work place! I'm not friendly, and I've regularly got a bad attitude, and I'm not the most likable guy, so yeah, I get it, won't be the last guy to hate the way I act and wont just sock me on the nose.
But how about just because of your skin color? How about just because of where I stand on a social issue, or my religion? How about just because of something out of my control?
The thought sickens me man. I'm sorry to hear it and I hope people can treat you and each other like humans.

I’m Korean and I’ve dealt with all kinds of racism, when I was a manager at CVS I had a customer tell me “why don’t you go back to your own fucking country”
I know I’m not always the nicest guy, I’m very rarely happy and almost never smile and if you want to hate me for that by all means go ahead, but when people hate me just because I’m Asain just pisses me off

Never trust allegations, proof is everything. Too many people have retaliated over losing their job, even something as simple as getting their feelings hurt.

Seeing how I'm basically from the area of PSA, I can speak confidently and unfortunately tell you racism is alive and well in this area, doesn't mean that the claim there happened or didn't. I agree though since we don't know one way or the other. I reserve judgement.

I’m at American just started following your channel today, you just said that these are allegations yet you’re condemning a company. I am of Italian descent and I have seen plenty of people go through the legal System accused of all types of crimes only to be acquitted. This is why as an American I’ve always admired our legal system’s “innocent until proven guilty”🙄 (in theory not always in practice). I will not judge you as perhaps there’s some evidence you know of that I do not. If that is not the case you are shaming a company with unproven allegations. I would be shocked if in this day and age a company would be aware of such behavior and sit back doing nothing. Agree with you if true they should pay the price.

If you watch and listen you will see and hear what I say, but I will abbreviate for you.
Palmetto State Armory has been content to say nothing on the matter due to a non-disclosure agreement, which I can only assume they themselves pushed, because the plaintiffs briefs are public knowledge.
Palmetto has not done an interior investigation, and has not hired an outside contractor to conduct an investigation.
The number one thing which I've seen in comments is that, "you can't tie a noose out of an air hose."
Obviously, I am not in any place to condemn anyone, or else somebody would be in shackles already.
I am stating that I will not be doing business with a company who has questionable practices in place, and I won't attempt to make money off of them.
So you are missing some of the point. Some of the point often gets lost between legality and ethics.
Last I checked its legal to have sex with a sixteen year old girl in South Carolina. But is it ethical? 🤔
So, America is also a very free country. And I am very free to influence whom I may and hope that they will watch, listen, and do what they think is right. Whether Palmetto is guilty or not, we don't know, but whether I will be doing business with them, that is a HARD NO. Not that my tiny act of decency and ethics has any effect on them. They're a corrupt giant, and I'm just one guy.
      Thanks for coming out.

      @@timberfallingcouple buckle in, it's a bit long-ish.
*** This is public information obtained from PACER.***
Looking at the answers by PSA, he was warned multiple times about attendance issues being disciplined. He's got a massive uphill battle. This won't make it to trial.
[^^^^MY EDIT: I think it's going to trial despite what this person wrote^^^^^]
      17. Defendant admits that Plaintiff requested to leave work early on September 1, 2022 and was informed that if he did so, he would receive discipline but denies the remaining allegations in Paragraph 17 of the Complaint and demands strict proof thereof. 18. Defendant admits that Plaintiff left work early after he was informed that leaving work early would result in disciplinary action because he caused his team to fall behind in production.
      34. Defendant admits the allegations in Paragraph 34 of the Complaint and admits that Plaintiff was given a final written warning even after he was instructed not to because he had caused his team to fall behind in production.
A short statement of the facts of the case. PSA hired Plaintiff as an armorer on November 15, 2021. On September 1, 2022, Plaintiff had difficulty staying on task and failed to maintain a pace sufficient to meet his team’s production needs. Nevertheless, Plaintiff requested to leave early on that day because of a headache. Plaintiff was informed that he could not leave due to his team’s recent poor performance, caused by his own inability to stay on task and complete his work. Plaintiff was also informed he would be subject to disciplinary action if he left work early on that day - Plaintiff indicated that he understood. Plaintiff left work early despite this warning, and this conduct was the subject of written discipline by his manager. Sometime in early September 2022, Plaintiff complained about an air hose that had been hanging from PSA’s ceiling for several months. PSA had hung the air hose from the ceiling to avoid a tripping hazard. Plaintiff apparently believed the air hose looked like a noose. PSA cut the air hose down from the ceiling after Plaintiff complained, and it was strapped to the back of a 3:24-cv-02651-MGL-SVH Date Filed 06/03/24 Entry Number 13 Page 1 of 4 54431611 v1 2 machine. After the air hose was cut down, Plaintiff did not make any additional complaints. No other employees complained about the air hose. On September 2, 2022, Plaintiff was again not performing his job functions in a satisfactory manner. Plaintiff was questioned and counseled by his manager to stay on task to ensure that he was performing his job duties in a timely manner so that his team did not fall behind on the production schedule yet again. On September 6, 2022, Plaintiff was still performing his job duties in a less than satisfactory manner. When Plaintiff was approached by his manager regarding his performance, he became aggressive and confrontational and stated that his manager would not do anything about his (Plaintiff’s) poor performance. Plaintiff’s employment was terminated for his failure to stay on task and his angry, aggressive outburst on September 6, 2023."

Well you are totally right about how these actions should be handled. Unfortunately in today’s political environment racism is not only accepted but encouraged. Tolerance is gone people no longer want to discuss views or try to understand the other person perspectives on an issue. Everybody seem to be locked into their on little sound bite of how they are suppose to think about other people. Good luck to you and thanks for speaking out about this issue.
