      Hey thanks garbonzo bean, we are trying our best to disprove some myths about firearms and encourage people to get into the sport at the most basic level. And see how it feels

    Glad to see you both practicing with a sling. Biggest take away from the Kyle Rittenhouse episode was the importance of a sling. He’d be dead without it.

      we are running slings in practice, and believe in serrated Bolt carriers. 👍🏼 I just got on board with the slings a couple months ago talking to my buddy Jesse about doctrine updates

    Man this is so nice to watch, we all love the big channels/guntubers but this just feels more natural.

      I always find it nice to be able to watch multiple videos and at least a couple from some redneck who doesn't have a dog in the fight.

    Proper training and superior equipment there is no substitute !
    Our Son just purchased his first rifle from Palmetto Arms (a modern ,47 hole punch ) and both the Wife, Daughter, Son in law own 15's we range from 44 mag to 45 acp to 38/357 mag to .380 and even a couple of odd ball metric hole punches....me I'm strictly meat and taters....AR and .custom Springfield Arms 1911 and 12 ga pump bb spreader. ....nothing fancy but man they get the job done.

      Hole punches. Love it.
      I've been carrying my 6mmUPC hole punch because theyre mowing hay fields here and the coyotes are gonna be going wild soon

    Try cmc trigger flat bow 3.5lb usually $99 on sale on holidays memorial is coming up palmetto state armory comes with anti walk pins really nice just my opinion

    • @timberfallingcouple
      @timberfallingcouple  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I actually pulled a cmc trigger out of one of my guns recently and am in the process of getting away from drop in parts. They do not all meet mil-spec requires for primer impact force. Much appreciated though.

      Well I didn't invent the crap I spout off, but I try to learn from wise dudes and relay their findings accurately as well as my own findings in some sort of intelligible manner. 👍🏼

      @ChristiannTyler 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I ditched the drop in stuff unless it’s a competition rifle. The enhanced mil spec triggers by ALG are so smooth and it feels exactly like my geissele for a 1/4 the cost and you’ll never have an issue with primer strikes

    • @timberfallingcouple
      @timberfallingcouple  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I will look into that company. My favorite so far has been the BCM one that came in that parts kit. But I polish everything anyways so it is pretty slick. I like a pretty stiff trigger with a clean snappy break.

      I really like the idea of it, but I would have literally no use for it because of it being so expensive to shoot. I have been thinking about an AR-10 of one sort or another for a while too, but haven't made the jump because I don't think I could afford to feed the thing

    • @boneyardmilitia1836
      @boneyardmilitia1836 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @timberfallingcouple Price point and availability is crucial but the 308 round is one of my all time faves..proven time and time again..Daniel defence ar10 would be my choice if I lived down there but I am in Retarded Canada. And it is Not the Country I grew up in..glad I lived down in the U.S. when I was younger. Got schooled I did for times like these..And here we are..Live Free bro..Things only gonna get worse..But Our kind will make it thru..we earned it by not being mindless Lemmings

      @boneyardmilitia1836 man, if I was in Canada, I would currently be thinking about a move to America or South Africa or maybe Argentina if I knew more about it.

    Enjoyed the vid. I'd verify the gas blocks are lined up and maybe consider drilling out the port on your barrel

    • @timberfallingcouple
      @timberfallingcouple  24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The one barrel, that would be an option, as it is parkerized, but the Brownells barrel, is literally so hard with what I think is a nitride coating of some sort, I can't even scratch it with a cold chisel. That nitride is really hard tough stuff, so I'd have to have a machinist hit it with a tungsten carbide tool.

      @@timberfallingcouple sounds like you are on top of it. I just got a suppressor so I'm having the opposite problem on most of my guns. Trying to get better at the tuning process

    • @timberfallingcouple
      @timberfallingcouple  24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @BruthaTuck I've thought a few times about just buying three or four of those rifle speed gas blocks, just so I'd have them on hand for when I do suppress my guns. Have you looked into them?

    • @BruthaTuck
      @BruthaTuck 24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@timberfallingcouple yep and they are not cheap. Debating between that or the bootleg or sharps adjustable bolt carriers. I have also heard superlative arms makes a good gas block and is a little more cost effective

    I am sure you guys run into a lot of scary stuff in the forests of the PNW, and I am not talking about wildlife. I love seeing people exercise their right to self-defense with their right to bear arms.

    Completely off topic here, wndering what type/brand name of jeans she’s wearing? I Iike the xtra pocket on right side. As a sm femaIe, I don’t Iike carrying a purse &/or hand waIIet. MainIy have cargo pants, (extra pockets), but not as rugged as jeans. We Iive a bit “out in da’sticks”, and I carry things most ‘femaIes’ don’t. Hard trying to find pants w/enough pockets, tough enough, that fit.

    Please, for the love of Eugene Stoner do NOT cut your buffer springs.
    What buffer weights are you running?
    Even at .063 it ahould have no problems running standard carbine buffers.
    Id also verify that buffer spring - make sure its not a .308 or rifle spring.
    Verify gas block alignment (it being off can cut some gas off) or try opening it up to .67 (thats a pretty standard size)

    • @timberfallingcouple
      @timberfallingcouple  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you for this comment! Everything in it now is a standard carbine buffer weight and spring. The gun cycles without any problems, but does eject to about the 4 o'clock to 0430 position. I like my guns overgassed

      @timberfallingcouple depends on the era of bushmaster. Old bushmaster (maine built) is very solid later bushmaster (Remington owned) is garbage. Modern bushmaster (Franklin armory) I'm not sure of yet

    • @timberfallingcouple
      @timberfallingcouple  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the explanation. I was wondering if it was a good or a bad thing to run bushmaster. I've run the cheapest piece of junk on the whole market, the Del-Ton and it ran good hahahaha so I'm not too picky.
