    I’ve met a lot of scary people! Most of them outta the woods! The scariest person I’ve ever met was myself back in the day! Drugs , bad decisions, and terrible relationships made me a scared unhinged a hole ! I look back now and what a waste of time and energy! My advice, find a good woman or friends you can trust and look at life as riding a bike , look forward and move ahead ! Aim for the sky don’t ever give up!

    Really enjoyed this. I agree with you pretty much 100 percent. I trust no one off the bat. Men are very unpredictable and I believe most people have ulterior motives. If you are afraid of a strong competent woman you’re not a man. Treat people as you want to be treated is the moral of the story. Trust is earned not given.

    I generally don't trust women, I personally know many good men who have had their lives ruined through divorce, however that hasn't stopped me from finding a good woman. Just like this bear vs. man thing shows women don't generally trust men, but it doesn't stop them from putting themselves in a vulnerable position with strange men, places like bars/nightclubs. Life is full of risk and learning risk assessment is an important skill. Finally, anyone who is offended by the answer to bear vs. man question is probably a city slicker. I live in the woods and spend most of my time in the woods outside of my private property. Whenever I come across another man in the woods my first thought is, "What are you doing out here?", and they likely think the same about me.

    Good listen. If either of you are readers, I suggest the book called “The Gift of Fear”. It talks a lot about human behavior and to trust your intuition. Go with your first instinct and don’t let someone talk you out of it because as soon as you let your guard down, that’s when bad happens. As far as the original topic, I’ve never been in a situation where I’ve said “if that animal does this or that I’m pulling the trigger. But I have with a man. Luckily he went straight instead of turning toward me or the outcome would not have been good.

    Sidenote....that drive into town from the woods.....yeesh 😒
    "The bureaucracy is expanding to meet the expanding needs of the bureaucracy."
    Society pfft. This is a topic for call in. I don't like to give concessions anymore but, I will this time; there are a lot of really good people still in this world.
    With that being said, this society has been sick for awhile and is becoming more sick. We are seeing the fruits each generation more than the last. What were the milestones? We have yet to see what (though we see glimpses) the full ramifications of a generation raised on technology is....we have allowed ourselves to become lab rats. And worse, we consume our demise like junkies. Meanwhile behind the curtain........huge topic.
    As far as the wife goes...I don't have an opinion beyond 1) love that you both work together and 2) the women in my family are also armed soooo...pretty standard because, society pfft.

    With the whole you earn your pay, you helped me see what it can be like on the other end (overcompensidizers?) and I totally understand that, you reap what you sow. I just wish social rhetoric and rent would follow suit. THAT is where the true issue lies. Want equality? Respect, financially, socially, etc., should always unequivocally be expected to be earned. To do otherwise is just fleecing all that intial good intent right out of the window

    And you have to admit when you have a crew of 10 guys working together there's a certain type of energy and camaraderie when you add one woman to that crew with nine men the dynamics changes entirely at least has been my experience typically. Especially if the one woman is in an intimate relationship with one of the guys and one of the other eight guys makes the woman cry watch the social dynamics implode

    This is perhaps a timeless problem but I will speak on what I seen first hand. It started a hundred years ago and yes, at least from my perspective it was women at fault. Both of my grandmother's ran out on my grandfather's because they wanted the party life instead of raising their family. Much credit to both of those men for taking care of their children and foregoing their own personal life to raise their children. Unfortunately, when they both remarried what they got then wasn't catch of the day either. One sat on her butt and smoked and drank until she had a stroke, then my grandfather had to take care of her for twenty years. The other one was vial and kept my grandpa away from his children and grandchildren for thirty years. With all that said, you can guess what effects that had on my parents. It wasn't always smooth by no means but they made it work 63 years.
    Biggest thing I see is the entitlement mentality has to stop. Once a man and woman are together they must be selfless to one another.
    Society has been wrecked by design. It's not going to be an easy fix.

    • @timberfallingcouple
      @timberfallingcouple  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'm going to let the two of you hash this out, because I think both are partly true.
      I think any woman has any right to go live whatever life she wants. But it is the legal system that favors the "bad" irresponsible or inept parent so that they can glean some money off the top when they force the more responsible parent to pay rent for his fatherhood.
      People should be free. Men should have a right to opt out of fatherhood if women don't want men to force them to carry babies to term etc..
      Lots of things here. But it's not women's fault to me any more than it's the child's fault when his parents feed him free food and grow him to be obese and lazy.

    So, I gotta say, man… This whole “bear or man” bullshit has gone too far. The point of the logical argument is that many “normal” women in society have shit twisted about the idea that the majority of men want to SA and murder women, but the majority don’t. You guys are used to the wilderness. It makes sense, because of your experience, bears aren’t as gnarly as most people think. I’ve chased one from rummaging through my trash without a firearm. But, this whole discussion is really an anti-feminist argument. I respect that you’re supporting your wife and are giving your perspective… But I have to ask. Are you looking at this through a feminist lens? Sorry, I didn’t listen to the whole thing, but I’d really like to engage with your perspective. Respectfully 🙏

      I am a God fearing woman...And this world & the church is so fractured by the sick & physical hurting actions of men. And I worked construction, in food & beverage, office administrator, limo driver, raced motorcycles and even went to Bible School, became a minister and even was a prison chaplain. This world has changed.
      Both Men & Women have become more unethical & are without a sane moral compass.

    • @seanmichael8202
      @seanmichael8202 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@PPMAK777 I will agree with your last sentence, 100%. In fact, I kinda wish you started your comment with that! It’s kind of my point, if I’m to offer any kind of opinion on the subject matter at hand. There is just way too much nuance and subjective outlook on how men and women interact, both with each other and separate amongst the same sex. Suffrage is universal, and anyone who claims otherwise and proclaims any type of biblical moral stance has to see eye to eye with what both sexes deal with together and amongst themselves. I totally agree, men err on the side of violence in ways women don’t. But the idea that we as men should be looked at as a constant or imminent threat seems counter intuitive to the provision and protection so may men offer to their families, let alone society. I think it is noble that the gentleman in the video (forgive me, I know not your name 🙏 if you’re reading this), but I have to play somewhat of a devil’s advocate that the right answer is that the bear in the woods is less dangerous than the man. I mean, on its face it’s an unfair metric given the stats of how many people are murdered by bears vs men in general 🤣 and by that logic we have to consider demographic, location, total population… It’s just a dumb argument in my opinion. But you are absolutely right, humanity itself has lost touch with the true moral virtue which is that that derives from the Gospel. I can appreciate your perspective 🙏
