Rainy Night Harvest - Cut and Come Again Flowers Grown From Seed for Two Bouquets! Zone 5B/6A!
Garden Gals and Guys, in this video we are doing some rainy night harvesting for a couple cut flower bouquets all grown from seed! I like to have fresh flowers in my newborn twins' nursery and I put the bouquet without sweet peas in their room and the one with sweet peas in my bedroom (since they are poisonous - just in case!). Most of these flowers in these bouquets are cut and come again flowers like snapdragons, sweet peas, and zinnias. You cut them and they keep comin' back with new blooms! Stock is the exception (it will NOT grow back) - I used two branches of Stock because of it's incredible smell...I didn't grow them last year and missed them, so I'm glad I grew them this year.
You'll also get a taste of some of my Floret Original Zinnias that I've grown. They just started growing and I'm already a fan! However, because I was rushing get everything planted before the twins were born, I didn't label everything, so you'll have to give me some grace there. BUT the back beds are labeled, so we can rest assured we've got the correct variety names there.
The video and audio quality is a not as good as I'd like due to the rain and time of night, so I apologize for that! Hopefully you still enjoy this video. If so, please like this video and if you haven't yet, subscribe to my channel to follow along with all things garden!
Thanks for watching! Happy Planting!

You have given me so much hope! I received some free dahlia tubers - 37 to be exact - and didn’t want to risk losing them all so I literally dug a small area of my lawn and planted them yesterday, July 13 🫣 I have never grown dahlias and knew I was running super late but what have I got to lose, right? Hoping I get at least a few blooms and lots of new tubers! 🤞🏻

Ohhh Steph! You know the very first time I left you a comment you told me if you ever have a daughter her name would be Margaret. :) :) Of course I wondered during your pregnancy if this still was the case. Be still my heart to hear your sweet babies names! Get this.... I am named after my mothers mother Margaret ( many call me Maggie) AND my fathers mother was named Winifred....guess what they called her YEP Winnie. Your twins literally have both my grandmothers names. I am over the moon happy for you and your family. Just beautiful!

One area by accident i built up the dirt with round landscape stones, potting soil and 4 in of mulch. The plant and rizome comes up very easilt when it is wet, with pulling. Spraying with Round up they come back in 2 yrs. Only digging them out they are back next season.
