      Good for you, Nicole! I feel ready now after going through everything - slightly overwhelmed because I thought I “cut back” this year, but the amount of seeds I have ordered is telling me otherwise! 🤣

    Great seed haul! Looks like you have lots of energy! I start my cool season annuals early knowing that they can go out earlier than the last frost date. I started my first lisianthus on January 1 and ordered from mostly Geo seeds. I'm excited to grow the Corelli Sugoi, Chaconne and Solo lisianthus varieties for the first time. I am growing the Voyage 2 and Voyage 3 Champagne. Yes, I'm growing Voyage 2 First Love again because I loved it last year. I actually started 14 varieties because I am also obsessed with lisianthus. They bloomed last year until November. I am starting my snapdragons this weekend. Potomac Appleblossom, Costa Apricot and Madame Butterfly Bronze with white are three of my favorites. Bridal pink from Johnny's is also one of my favorites. I did grow Madame Butterfly Cherry Rose from Territorial seeds last year and it was stunning. I always grow the MB Ivory and MB Red each year. I still had some Floret Iceland poppies seeds and they recently germinated and are under lights. I also started stock, violas and pansies at the end of January. I also am growing the Frizzle Sizzle variety and pastel violas from Johnny's that you are growing. Another viola I love is the Mulberry shades in the Nature mix. I started soaking my anemones and ranunculus earlier this week and have done some everyday but I'm not yet done. Yes, the Floret sale is next week. I bought the Unicorn zinnias when she offered them a couple years ago. We got a discount when we took the Floret Workshop so I really bought seeds! Last year, I had to see the Unicorn zinnias every morning to see how the colors evolved. Last year, both Dawn Creek zinnia and Blomma had a seed donation program where you could receive their seed breeding zinnia packet with a donation. I loved both and saved seed from both. I hope to order from the Floret sale and after we'll have to see what we each bought. Enjoy your weekend!

      Yes, Sue! 👏 I knew you’ve been busy! Always love you’re growing new varieties of Lisianthus I never heard of, so now I have to look all those up! I haven’t even spoken of anemones and ranunculus (or opened the ones I received in the mail 😳), but I know those are are deck right now too. Day by day for me! Hoping they look okay. LOVE that you were able to get your hands on some Unicorn zinnias and love them. I haven’t heard of those donation programs - what a great idea! Oh yes, I’ll be updating you with mg picks. Good luck purchasing all you’re looking to snag! Cheers!

    I got my floret originals precious metals zinnias!!!! Thanks for sharing the sale. I was watching Growing Floret seasons 1 and 2 during my pregnancy, so it means a lot to me that I get to grow their zinnias with my little girl this year! :) Loved your seed haul. I didn't do any fall snapdragons like I have done, so I'm going to sorely miss them in my bouquets this spring. I did get some bachelor buttons going though. Can't wait to see your blooms :)

    Just discovered your channel- this is so fun! I also love lisianthus and grew a voyager II mix last year. I start them in an Aerogarden seed starting insert in late December, and have had great success. I’m in central Ohio 6B, and order as many seeds as possible from GeoSeeds.

    Wow big seed haul 😊😊, I'm in Ohio zone 6 close to the lake. I did an experiment with snapdragons, had pink,yellow and white ones. The pink ones look like they survived the winter did not cover them. Have a
    Million little violas growing and a few with little flowers just ordered mini tray incerts 5x5 8 fit in the 10x20 trays easier to keep track of colors for me. Your going to have some beautiful flowers

      @TinysGarden  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you, Alexis! Definitely try Lisianthus…it is challenging, but it’s also hands down the most gratifying for me to grow. And yes, some of the pastel Zinnias have me drooling. Stunning!

    I have 4 varieties of lisianthus going this year. Black pearl, voyage first love, clear green and can can carmine red. Also have many snaps started also 4 rubeckia varieties.

    Great seed haul! I love all your selections and I too am getting my snaps started. I already started some Sahara Rudbeckia and a few herbs.
    I am drooooling over the Floret sale and her new releases but sadly probably will not pull the trigger as I have ordered from her in the past and with the exchange rate and extra fees being shipped to Canada the cost is insane. Its so tough to resist tho. sighhh. So dreamy :)

    Thanks Steph!! Your snaps last year...what size soil blocks were those that you kept your snaps in? Trying soil blocks for the first time this year. Also, so happy you didn't start your lisianthus yet so I can grow with you. I started some doublini on 1/7, but ordered a bunch more varieties from Geoseeds and I haven't gotten them yet. Hope I'm not too late to the party!!🎉

    • @TinysGarden
      @TinysGarden  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The smallest size soil block. The only thing I’ll start in the bigger soil block is sweet peas and tomatoes! How exciting you’re trying soil blocks…last year was my first year and I’m a changed woman. I had fantastic results! I always forget about Geoseeds! I’m hoping to start some Lissies today! We’re not late! We’re going to be just fine!

    Last year I planted lisianthus plugs so this year I'm trying seeds. I read that they don'tlike root disturbance & like a deeper cell so I put them in my shorter deep root trays. Do you think that was a mistake? I've had good germination and I know they take a really long time to grow but I'm nervous. These trays are a couple inches shorter than the extra deep ones I uss for my sweetpeas.

    • @TinysGarden
      @TinysGarden  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I wouldn’t use a sweet pea size one, but I think you should be okay in one that you started them in and I don’t think you’ll have to pot them up to a bigger cell. Happy for you that you’re giving them a try from seed!

    I got two Floret seeds over the summer, amaranth Mira and celosia coral reef! Have you grown celosia? It’s one of my favorites, so low maintenance and such gorg colors! Most of the rest of my seeds are from Botanical Interests, have you ordered from them before? I’ve never ordered from Johnny’s before! 🙊

    • @TinysGarden
      @TinysGarden  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I’m still getting over that you haven’t ordered from Johnny’s before 🤯 But totally okay…one day, if you do, you’ll learn SO much from their seed packets. I have grown celosia although admittedly, I’ve been a little neglectful of them and have killed many off. Yikes! Hoping I do better this year. I’ve used Botanical Interests often too. It’s convenient local garden centers usually have their packets.
