I didn’t realise this was 3 years ago but you basically went past both my family home and current home, I remember when I was in year 7 and was trying to make friends with some cool kids who wanted to find a fun hill to ride down quickly I took them here and they chickened out big time! I convinced them to go up Holly Lodge instead, even though it’s basically the same, it’s longer and looks slightly less scary lol

Everything inside that bike is crude. It looks like a 15 year old made it in shop class. But all of it is put together just right to get the job done. It's the shell that's the amazing part. It must be extremely efficient even though it too looks pretty beat up and low budget. At the end of the day, it's not looks that win races, it's everything working more efficiently than any other bike on the track that day. This bike wins.

Got a GT over the SL because I use it for delivery rides XD I do love the Car like feeling, it is very roomy compared to something like a Snoek.

Don't have front suspension on the recumbent trike which is fine as you just holding the tank steering lightly, same goes for the endurance bicycle. Have rear elastomer suspension on both though.

Have an ICE trike. My concern about getting a fairing is what if you can't see over it? You will have wasted £500+

Don't have a velo but do have a recumbent trike. But as an advanced driver and rider , would not be doing 25mph past that exit as it would have would have been a clear potential hazard, my speed depending on the plan formed to deal with it based on other hazards. Good that you were in a velo though, as would have been bad if on a bicycle. I would join a breakdown service for bicycles and trikes to have your velo taken home in the event of a brakedown or accident.

Would a velomibile be usable in Scotland? Hills where I stay are upto 15% gradient, lowest chainrings I see on velos are 42 or 46. On my recumbent trike with 26 rear wheel I tend to use a 32 chainring for most hills, a 22 for 15% (speed droping to 2mph). Won't it be murder getting up hills on a heavier velo?

Thank you for a great video on a great man. Some unbelievable facts about the TCR frame design. One question about the TCR Aero forks, were they designed by Mike? I think the Aero Forks were banned on road bikes by the UCI in 2004. Giant stopped putting them on road bikes in 2004 with the Giant Aero 2 TCR. I have the 2003 Giant Aero TCR with the Aero Forks. I also have a 1st generation 1997 TCR EXT with the Areo wheels. Thank you from a Mike Burrows fan.
