@ I was really considering joining Walmart, I like their culture, how they treat their drivers, I do get pay really good at my current job, I thought of doing the move to walmart to avoid the drive time from my house to my work place..... I drive 92 miles round trip every day and I was trying to get something closer with the same pay ( $450 - $500 ADP ) Holidays pay and great benefits as well

@KevinMejia-y6u my adp was 435 doing grocery in Indiana. I hear in Texas and some east cost places it closer to 500 a day. We make a lot more now than when that video was made. Most guys I talk to avg 105k to 113k the first year. Plus all the things you mentioned about culture, ease of work, etc. I can email you the Inurance book if you want to look at it. I also just did a video on insurance.

Just for your information, a yard driver. It is not a CD l physician that will gain experience for a Walmart position down the road. The city driver, it does require thirty one that's an experience

I wonder why walmart for the yard position requires me to get a cdl within 6 months? Any ideas?

@MobileHomeGeekTexas you will need a CD l tooth be in that position because sometimes you have to drive off-site to like get fuel or move trailers to a yard that might be within like a 1/2 a mile. So since you have to go on a city street, you will need a cdl. It just doesn't count towards cdl.Credit for the thirty months

@@issacespinoza5498 no, they may ask for some records. As long as your company was registered with the clearinghouse, and they can verify the use. I've been in the clearinghouse for drug screens or things like that. I think that's all you've got to do.You should be good to get in

@JoTrev1 my aunt lives on that island. I'm told things are shipped on containers and they use smaller trucks to deliver. They don't have "walmart" drivers.

@ ahh. Makes sense. I couldn’t find any info. I just found a warehouse out there on google maps that look like everything shipped there and distributed but no Walmart DC. That explains the small trucks you’re referring to. I did see a lot of them small trucks out when I was there this past Labor Day. I saw even a hogan transport too.

A2D is a completely different animal. 1000s will apply 12-24 will get accepted. Referals do you no good. Your work history and what you local management thinks of you is far more important. Good luck

@@WalmartRich Dang I really had my hopes up for it too. Been studying and everything in my off time. So I would have a better chance quitting for a different trucking company, gaining my experience there and then applying as an outsider? I really want to stay with Walmart for the benefits and what not. But now I just don't know anymore, I feel the odds are super stacked against me. Thanks though.

@adam2O it's way to your advantage to stay. You keep your pto status. Talk to your mgr and see if they can put in a word or find out anything for ya.

@sonnygreen9698 i get a lot of drivers on my channel who say Walmart sucks, my job is better. I'd like to give them an opportunity to discuss. Walmart isn't for everyone. Maybe the other job is a better fit for them

I had put my application in at Walmart this is when they had first got work day…. And waited months for a call back only to find out the position had been filled so I found another job doing a 17/7 driving in west Texas starting pay is 31 a hour doing 12 hour days free housing and food 🍲 hardest part about the job is getting out of the truck lol 😂 all new equipment 2023-2025 Pete 567 and kw t660

Hi, dad. Main requirements are you have to have at least 30 months of experience in the last 4 years, which you do felonies, are not a disqualifier, but they must be nonviolent and longer than 5 years. And I believe on the website, it states that you cannot have a non preventable accident in the last five years Www.drive4walmart.com

@@WalmartRich I don't work at Walmart. Seems you have to balance not getting back too early because you could be sent out again. If you would have had a flat tire, during the pre trip, you're screwed for the day.

@constpegasus That explains it. If you worked here you would see it very easy. Your the captain of the ship. You set your time to your wants and needs. Also if you had a flat you get breakdown pay which is adp (average day pay) so.etimes that's more that working. It actually great job with great pay for doing very little.

@@WalmartRich I guess so. I’ve already been working on the Walmart Dedicated fleet for Crete at the Mankato, Mn DC for the last two years. A driver gave me his info in a store once and I held on to that little piece of paper for a year and finally threw it away and the a couple days later they had openings at all the DC’s in NC 😆
