If your currently a driver for walmart, you must be a walmart driver for one year before you can apply for the teamruns to alaska. If you want to apply to drive for walmart, you can have to live within two hundred and fifty miles of the d c you want to apply to.
Walmart recently resented their offer because I was 3 months verifiable driving history. I spoke with the trainer the other day in Arkansas when dropping a trailer I can reapply if it's been 60 days or so. Is it best to wait accrue the time in resubmit?
If I go through the Walmart driving academy because I work at the store right now, is onboarding after that or is the academy the onboarding for drivers?
Hello Rich i was wondering i have about 10 months of experience hauling tankers. How much experience do you need for Walmart to consider you for employment? I was curious i heard they are taking Walmart associates and getting them in CDL training
Walmart associates must have at least one year with the company and go through a very extensive selection process.. For an outside driver to become a Walmart driver. You need 30 months of experience in the last 4 years.
I already drive for Walmart , I’m just trying to get my guy whom applied at Sealey TX … He couldn’t find a area to put my referral 😂 and we’re more than cousins brothers more like it Rich
Most have a different inverter for the machines. If you get a truck that has the 2 hr inverter then you just take it to the shop and they replace it. In the meantime I bought a 750w 5 plug inverter that goes into the cigarette plug. It runs my cpap

I'm told it's a yard for trucks so people don’t have to travel as far. Thats about all I know

If you got the 60 days the go ahead. I'm not sure if there are any openings in Arkansas right now

Associate to driver is completely different. You go through a 12 week course then I think 6 additional weeks with a mentor.

There is no place to enter driver name nor ID number… only thing it has is “I know someone who works at Walmart”…

Call driver line after and they can input it for you. But i think when you click "if you know someone " it asks name and put badge driver number also

You don't always make it back to the DC after every load. Unless you are home daily you have to sleep at stores, DCs, rest areas etc

I advise to wait till 29 mo and a week. By the time the background check is done..its 30 months
