Yes that area doesn't lose drivers often for some reason. I am.hearing the new fiscal year starts February 1st. Maybe things will open up then?

Texas has a fellet development center. Associates or warehouse.workers can go there and train to be a driver. Texas is not hiring in November.

Enjoy your video’s. From my experience so far Wal-Mart driver hiring process could use some improvement. The media talks about Walmart needing drivers but after turning in my application two weeks ago and completing back ground check all they can tell you is a “recruiter will contact you if they are interested “. They won’t give me the recruiters contact info. I have 17 years accident free experience with no criminal record. Other companies I have spoken to ask when I can start. So does Walmart really need drivers? I shared this with you so maybe you can pass along to your contacts so the process can be improved. Take care driver and be safe.

Did you have anyone as a referral? I do know you get priority. They also fill Hotspot before lesser needed locations. 2-3 weeks is normal because the back ground checks are not in walmarts control. Over the summer when there 1000s of applicants a day it took some drivers 3-4 months to get cleared. If they gave everyone a recruiters Info they would never get anyone cleared.
Also not to brag or boast but I have every recruiter ear and info. If some uses me as a referral my boss has given me approval to give out info on an as needed basement.
Im sorry yours took a little longer than some currently, I do believe they are working as fast as they can.

I’ve been an overnight stocker at a Walmart store for almost 6 years. I have no trucking experience, would it be possible for for someone like me to make it straight into a trucking position with Walmart?

That now have an associate to driver program. The first part us 12 weeks long. Talk to your hr and look on workday for associate to driver. Its an amazing program!

Beaver Damn is looking right now. Not sure how close Spring Valley is from you too.
Home Daily is about 5-10k less a year so maybe 95k-100k gross? From drivers I talked to. I talked about this in my newest video.

You would have your pick. You must live within 250 miles. I see Coldwater, garret/auburn, gas city, Indianapolis, even green castle IN and spring valley IL is within distance.. of course logistically i would not choose spring valley or green castle.
You live almost equal distance from all of them. You would have a commute each week like I do.

I'm ready, one caveat is my experience. Was contracted via outside carrier at Gas City for 4+ months until they "lost" contract. Highly familiar with Wal Mart paperwork, etc......except on board computer. Live 100 miles from Garret/Auburn and 132 miles from Gas City. Any discussion on lowering experience to less than 2 years? THANKS

I wanna encourage you if your interested in Walmart to go back and watch all of Rich’s videos. He’s 100% accurate with the information he provides. You will have enough info after watching them all to decide wether or not Walmart would be good for you. Also, no matter how good of a driver you are, or think you are. Don’t assume your gonna ace the road test, backing, and the Pre Trip. Take your time and listen to the instructors. They explain and demonstrate how to do what Walmart expects. Also they provide a manual for the pre trip, detailing everything you need to meet Walmarts expectations. Listen doesn’t matter if you meet the minimal requirements or if you have 20+ years experience, like myself. Anybody can pass onboarding and anybody can fail onboarding. I failed. One mistake is all it takes. But they invited me back to finishing school. Humbled me tremendously, I’ve trained driver’s for years. There are no Goat’s in truck driving guys. Finishing is one on one training, at least for me it was. I humbly sucked it up, cause I really wanted to work and drive for Walmart. And happy to say I’ am. Thanks Rich for all your info, hands down the best Walmart you tube channel I found.
