I certainly appreciate your dedication to help drivers that want to come to Walmart. The pre-trip inspection should not be a company secret. If drivers look into the DOT pre trip, in their state (there are videos out there) Walmart mirrors the DOT way of inspecting. Honestly, before I came to Walmart, I actually had a Minnesota Commercial cop watch me do an inspection and said to me “that was a good inspection, we know that Walmart trains there drivers well, you be fine going to work there”. I will wait to see that video. Good luck resubmitting.
Different states have different tweaks. I never knew about the bolt on the 5th wheel and Indiana doesn't require you to twist lugnuts. Walmart is more than my state pretrip.
@@WalmartRich So they want us to know the pre-trip by memory? Good Lord, I feel like I have to be a mechanic to figure out some of the stuff lol. I'm trying to study one section of it at a time too. So once you are a driver, are you allowed to use the pre-trip guide while on the job or do they just want you to know it like the back of your hand all the time?
They are changing the pre trip as of next week. Not sure if you have seen the change. The are now requiring you to say what you are looking for on each part (ie cracked bent broken) you cant just say its good now.
Style preference. There are white, light blue, and dark blue. It all depends on what the uniform company has available. Most guys who don't wear white daily (because it gets dirty) has atleast 1 white for dress events such as Walmart heart, funerals, etc

Hopefully you can still use the guide while doing the pre-trip. Thx for the update. And looking forward to seeing the updated video.
I'm told you can not

Once your hired you can use the paper. Its not as hard as it seems. It will make more sense when your at onboarding

The revision date of the current version is 12/6/23.

Whats difference between blue shirts and white shirts? Time on the job with WM?
