Everyone that I have talked to have been super nice. One of the biggest things I love about Walmart is they stand by the safety parts of the job. I'm so sick of jobs I worked for all about production and how much we are getting done the safety second or third in line . That doesn't work for me safely comes before all others in my book. And I'm so glad to see that in Walmart for the drivers .
I know someone who filled out the Walmart application for drivers. On the application he did not want his employer to know his business. Moving forward this person has all their credentials to be a great candidate for Walmart and perfect driving record. He took down their application and when to reapply. But nevertheless they are unable to chang, yes you can contact my employer because this page does not show. Can you please help.

Im a turn driver At the pottsville DC and we are paid miles and activities and I am doing very very well on pay .just figured I'd let you guys know if you plan on being a turn driver some pay like the stay out guys like Rich . And fellas I know what rich says sometimes sounds too good to be true but all the information he is giving you is 100 percent correct best driving job I ever had in 17 years of driving
Thanks! I only speak of what I know. I have heard Apple Valley is tough to make money but I had more guys say they like Apple Valley than dont so I can't really give to much info on it because I'm not there.
@@WalmartRich I only know pottsville I have never been to any other DC but I honestly can't complain my ADP is 340 that's amazing for sleeping in my bed every night. Treated like a human doesn't matter what DC drivers you meet at the stores it's literally a brotherhood. I worked alot harder for a lot less money. I actually enjoy driving again

@@WalmartRich could you clarify a little better. I’m not understanding what ( official days off would pertain too ). I’m trying to find out if I could take one of my kids out to ride while I work on a 5 day schedule or whatever if I decide to work for Walmart. Ages are above kindergarten age.
In a nutshell .... *only 1 rider per truck. *Passengers must be at minimum kindergarten age. Must be on an official break from school. Summer break, weekend, or official day off. (Release forms must be signed by poth parents or guardians) *Release form are on file for 1 year. Rider may be child, spouse, domestic partner, parent, or Walmart associates. *Others may be allowed at the GTM discretion.

I just got done with onboarding in Spring Valley, Illinois. It was about a month process before onboarding was set up. Had several issues with background check and clearinghouse. But they got it figured out. My recruiter was a guy named Allan Gaston out of Chicago. He was great to deal with. He was at onboarding with us to get a feel of the actual onboarding. All the CDTs were great! I’m back home. I’m doing my two weeks for my current company and my recruiter said I can put a referral when I go to St James for my orientation in two weeks.
I get to 30 months on the 26th of December, I will definitely be applying then and also use you as a referral, I live in Florida and I know it's tough to get on there but I'm gonna still try...keep up the good work!!
Yes 4 guys 3 trucks on that shift I think. Until you can bid on a own truck schedule. That varies from place to place. I been hearing from many 2-3 years to get your own truck.
It seems like things are occasionally popping up but I got an email reply a few weeks ago that there were freezes in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico as well
Hello, a quick question- I'm used to being out on the road, so I don't have any interest in going home weekly. (No family, kids, etc.) Will they let me stay out on the road until I get tired and request a break? Or will I be forced to take home time?

Are you in Texas? They did a few pilot programs last year. Next year it should open nationwide

My understanding in it has to be class a combination. Can be sleeper or day cab truck

Most runs are regional. You will need to take a restart at some point.
