instead of remarkable why dont we use real paper and color highlight pen if we want pure writing feel.

I dont even understand how this product came to be. What is the benefit compared to paper ? Is saving space worth that price tag ? L

Does the reMarkable pencil works on ipad?

I bought a $15 paperlike magnetic screen for my iPad and a pen tip for $6 bucks (4 tips for $6) for the Apple Pencil and it works wonders ngl. Remarkable is just too much overpriced tbh. Still I might’ve gotten it if there was some kind of integration between Apple eco system. Apple ecosystem is just too good. I take notes on my iPad, I can access it from my Mac, iPhone or any Apple device which is a very convenient thing tbf

The visible lag there is a deal breaker. Throw a matte screen protector on the iPad and the “feel” problem is solved. But an unsolvable problem is lag. If the pen isn’t mimicking real time writing. It’s a major flop.

Why does text get much larger when you write on tablets, even on Remarkable 2, than on paper?

You are also forgetting that the iPad screen light will strain your eyes. If your looking for a pure writing tool to replace your physical notebook then get the remarkable pro.

Ipad will become more good writing experience if you stick paperlike screen protector. I am enjoying both now

Does onyx boox note air 2 plus has a tilt function like remarkable 2(when i can make wide texture line)? I cant find this feature in many reviews for onyx , and saw it only on remarkable ans kindle scribe

You can get a "paper" screen protector for the iPad that makes it feel much closer to the reMarkable

The glass reflection in the Ipad is annying, not acceptable.

Few years down the line these can now be had for like. 70 bucks if you dont care about signs of normal use. More than worth it! The trackpad is light years beyond anything other than the Logitech folio touch

Ipad basic model is a better and cheaper choice, but the main issue is there are so many distractions as it might defeat the purpose of focusing on something you wanted to do, I am caught in between, the price on a remarkable tablet is more expensive than the iPad 🥲

For Samsung: Does it feel like real A4 paper without the need to zoom in and out? This feature is essential for me, as using a small tablet is frustrating. When I write on A4 paper, I can use both small and large handwriting with a pencil comfortably.

I have watched video about Nokia 3210 4g but it doesn't have kaios so that is not nice, however now Nokia 8000 will be my favorite phone with 5ghz wifi and 4g, hope can buy new one in 2024

Now actually show the delay in writing on the remarkable, and compare the precision of the pens too. And write like a proper human, not 5 words on a page like a toddler. This is such biased BS of a video.

Apple pencil is terrible.. one of apples worst designs..greatly prefer the surface slim pen 2 with haptics it's not clacky, draggy and stows away very nicely on my surface laptop studio

The onyx is really betterave than thé remarkable.

for Europeans: do not buy the remarkable unless you have a CC. for once, essential functions are only covered by the annual subscription, like data syncing, though you get a year free, you need to have a CC right away, otherwise those functions cannot be used. given the price tag, the superb competition, its just deceiving, a rip off.
