Very interesting. I own a Nova 3 with a "modded" screen protector for a Surface Go. And it changes the feeling a lot. Will try this Doodroo, at some point. Liking very much your videos.

Thank you for your kind words and for saying how much a screen protector can change the feeling 👍. I'm guessing one of the biggest advantages to the Doodroo screen protector will be the sizing and application, it's nice to not have to sort out the modifications. Well done though for sorting out a better screen protector yourself to improve the experience 😊.

Hi, thank you for the video. So, after several months, could you say that that the writing experience with the note air 2 + the doodroo screen protector is at the same level than the Remarkable 2?

So this is the original note air, the note air 2 should be better, possibly not needing the Doodroo protector. But yes they are very comparable, I prefer Remarkable because of it’s simplicity, but the Note Air will work well and writes at a similar level to the remarkable. Actually, because of the backlight in some circumstances in a darker room, the Note Air would be preferable. I hope that helps.

Hi, thanks for the review! I might be giving the Doodroo screen protector a try! I'm an econ student, which means having to draw the occasional graph or curve, and they all turn out to be a squiggly mess thanks to the slippy feel of the glass (my Note Air didn't come with screen protectors in the box).
One question: are you just using the standard pen nib that came with the Note Air? Or would you recommend changing that up as well?

Thanks, Dominique, also really interesting because I thought all Note Air’s came with a screen protector.
The answer is yes, standard pen and nib. I tried some other combinations, but with the Doodroo screen protector, the standard setup is an excellent experience, in my opinion. For example, I tried it with the Remarkable 2 nib, which just felt far too rough.
Who knows, a screen protector could even change your experience from the occasional graph and curve to the primary way you take notes 😉.

Hi, thank you so much for your helpful videos! I have a question for you. I’ve just bought a note air, everything seems to work fine but I’m not sure about the charging: is it normal that it is very slow (10 hours 10%, while never using it)? Also, if it’s Off is it normal that it seems to be continuously restarting? (Maybe it’s just a sort of screensaver and it’s fine but I thought to ask). Thanks for your help in advance

Hi The, thanks for the compliment.
So both questions are in a way easy to answer although I can only really give you a helpful answer for the second question.
Re the charging no that's not normal, the device should be charging very quickly. But obviously I don't know why. I would try changing the plug, plug socket and cable in the hope that it is one of those connections. If not you might have to contact Onyx as it could be a fault with the device. Either way the device should be changing really quickly like fully changed in a couple of hours.
Re restarting I think I know what that might be because I had a similar issue myself when I first got the device. If you go into settings and power the first 2 settings are Auto Sleep and then more importantly power-off timeout. I can't remember what this was out of the box but I remember it being a pain. I did have it set at 12 hours but as you have just reminded me about it I have changed it to 1 day.
I hope that settings trick sorts out your restarting issue 👍 and good luck with getting the device to change at a decent speed. Sorry I can't be more help with that.
