Very good side by side comparison... lacking in many. Also your review made me consider this over the 7s as i have 6.75" wrist... thanks for showing whats missing with other reviews.
Thank you for the comment and compliment 👍. If you can I would personally get the epix over the fenix, I think the screen and battery combo are awesome. But it is nice that in the fenix series they have 3 size options. Also on the epix its nice to have a light on your screen as an really useful option that the fenix 7s doesn't/can't offer.
I hoped you would shouw us the weight of the watch with different bands. Please consider doing that in the next video. It would be helpful. The weights of the stranps are usually hard to find ...
Thanks, man 👍. As much as I enjoy watching that type of video myself, I'm too soft 😂. My sport of choice is cycling, in which I would happily go out and ride 100 miles plus in a day as a fun adventure out 😊, and I cycle several thousand miles a year. I think that's why I went for the epix as opposed to the fenix. The fenix 7 with solar, especially the x with its flashlight, is an absolute tool and would be awesome as part of a camping trip. Thanks for the question.
Hey Alex. I live in Canada and they don’t make that model of Epix here. I like that it’s all black and doesn’t have the red button on the side. Very nice. I really wish I could buy that one. 😔
Hi, Will that is very frustrating. However, other than the red button, it is the same, and honestly, the strap makes a bigger difference. I change the strap normally at least once a day. If it's the right watch for you, I would go for it and look at additional straps 👍. It is an awesome bit of kit.
@@willschmitt349 it's a shame and makes no sense that they don't sell it in Canada or even the US 🙈. But at that price your right it's got to be right for you 👍
It is 👍 supposed to be, and I think the non titanium version 76 grams. But I think that's the weight with the silicone band 🤔 I think the case is 49 grams. I will try and do a video looking at the weight with different straps. That seems like more fun than getting a life 🙃 😂🙈😉. Thanks for the helpful comment, John 👍 .
@@johnmanley4528 Any idea which ones? I really like the Jacquard-weave ones but the price £££. I know this watch is expensive and I did justify to myself buying the titanium band but nearly £200 for Jacquard-weave bands. Why Garmin can't just have the strap weights on their website I don't understand.
Your opening “Hi” sounds like Ross from Friends 😂

is that metal band the carbon gray titanium?
That's exactly what it is, very expensive but very nice 👍

That's a really good point Jan 👍, especially as I found it hard to find that information myself 🤔. Thank you for the suggestion 😊
I thank you for making the video about it. It helps a lot! ❤️
Hey great video brother! Do you ever buy sporting gear? (guns, knives, hunting /camping gear)

@@AlexSamuels thanks for the reply. I just like the all black look like the FENIX sapphire. If we had it in Canada, I’d be a buyer

The titanium version is 70 grams, I believe.

@@AlexSamuels There are certain nylon straps you can try that are only 5 or so grams.
