Thanks, Ali 👍. Also, thank you for saying you haven't come across the idea before, as I often forget that people don't always know what's in my head 😂. Keep well, my friend 😊.
Thank you Pete, I'll put it on the future videos list 👍. Unfortunately because of my health that might take a while. I really appreciate you taking the time to comment 😊.
Great Video Alex ! Fantastic subject and a fresh way of telling it .. excellent scripting and editing too. I like the story of how you could have wasted time on the wealth research and added no value to the video .. I need to take this on board. Just uploaded mine, very much at the beginning in comparison. Thanks for being an accountability partner. Really helped me get this done.
Ditto, accountability worked well for both of us 😊 as without you, I would have ridden my bike in the rain and been confused as to why I can't publish a video 😂. Thank you for your kind words. Do we have an accountability deadline for the next one? 🤔😉
Nice video, great food for thought! I only know the 80/20 rule that (in software development for example) 80% of the work is done in 20% of the time, so this was kind of confusing for me as I expected to hear that 😅
Thanks for the comment 👍. The Pareto principle is fascinating and comes up in many places, particularly in nature; Pareto himself first observed that 20% of pea pods in his garden produced 80% of the peas. It was only latterly that it became a business-led thing. 😊
Thanks, Alex, very much. A truly helpful and well done video for sure. I am going to reflect on and choose the 20% of current projects that matter most to me. Then I'll prioritize or schedule actually getting these done. Yes, I'll also give of each these activities a deadline. I think to be accountable for getting this work done, I'll post a copy of them on my bathroom mirror where I see and often talk to myself each morning. I'll be able to both encourage myself to keep on with this work and acknowledge with a smile the accomplishments I've made.
@@DavidRReed thanks David great comment 👍. I would only suggest that you try and find an accountability partner or partners for different areas. The studies suggest that that external accountability works better. Or even just making it public like a social media post. That way we work that bit harder because it's not just ourselves we are working to do things for. Just a thought 😊.
Never come across this 80/20 idea before. Thanks for the video. Great to see you back!

A video on deadlines would be great, Alex. Many thanks.

Good video Alex, great to see you posting again!

@@AlexSamuels 😂 no worries.. same time next week? I’ll add in editing to my next video and decide on the topic today.
@@habitpunk Sounds like a plan, I have ridden about 95km today so I am more relaxed about missing my Sunday ride 😂.
Good to see you are back Alex! :D
It’s good to be back, it has been a part of me that I have been missing 😊.
Loving your channels growth btw 👍, well done.

@@AlexSamuels really fascinating... wonder now knowing this, if I'm able to spot it in other places and/or improve my business
@Boy Lenssen absolutely you will be able too. Just remember not to get rid of things you actually enjoy in the process 😉
