I made the upgrade (Neptune 3+) with the solid copper heat block, all Metal Bimetal Heatbreak Copper & Titanium, and the ptfe tube. Halfway through a next print it blocked up and I had to take it apart again. What might have caused it with Elegoo PLA? Also, I am doing a flat print and the surface is now not as smooth as it was before the upgrade. Any thoughts what I am doing wrong? UPDATE: I cannot get it to print successfully now. A print starts and after a while no more filament comes out. I am so frustrated. @randymay

I did this upgrade but when I did the Thermistor the nozzle temperature can't hold at target, keeps going above or below

What did you use to scan the part?

i use my dryer with the printer and still use the filament sensor just fine. It just bends in the tube a bit to get it there. However, theres a free file you can download to relocate the filament sensor to the side of the printer.

You get what pay for. A decent scanner costs a minimum of $5000. The Einstar at $1000 is slow but you can make multiple scan and combine them before you mesh.

Ah nice, and all this for the small sum of 4900 USD... Jokes aside, the machine obviously does a great job, but I fear I can't afford this one for now. Good review tho. I would've bought the scanner if I had a spare kidney to sell. The archivist in me really want's one for a project I am working on, but I can't justify the cost for now.

Yuo can now flash open firmware and use klipper free wiouth any other creality stop, Creality liberate the firmware , then yuo can setup yuo zoffset as always

Does thus make it so you don't need the ptfe tube at all now?

This was a lot of help. I recently broke off my nozzle when tightening it. Then I tried to use a screw extractor and cracked the whole block 🤦 This video helped me with the disassembly and it also gave me some tips when I'm gonna buy a new one. Thanks for the great video /Bo Ps. The problem was a bulge in the filament so the extruder couldn't feed it in. I of course realized this efter I broke the nozzle.

I noticed some of the bimetal heatbreaks have different lengths the one you linked eg is 20mm (copper section), but the one available on amazon AU is 13.5mm. Would this matter?

I've had my K1 for a week. I thought the under extrusion might be a slicing issue, so I downloaded CR's slicer. Didn't help.

Is this better or as good as the Xtool P2? The workspace of this is better because the P2 only as 308mm on the x axis.

When printing with ABS, how do you deal with the fumes with the topless enclosure? I have seen tops for the Ender 5 S1 advertised recently, have you tried any of these? I've looked at the "soft" enclosure and feel it would work better beign fully enclosed and havign that refelctive interior surface, but the Acrylic looks nicer. Maybe the acrylic could benefit from a chamber heater?

I've done the upgrade. I manually leveled my bed and hit out level and the printer screen is stuck on booting. any idea what I did wrong? is this why I need to do that PID tune?

What is the difference in the D69 and D80 rotary. Is this laser difficult to link up with lightburn?

You use your Machine at 20 kHz? The Rayus 50W can only 50 - 100 kHz... You may damage your Lasersource... Keep in Mind.

PSP Go love that throwback. That controller mount print could def be optimized for less support and better quality me thinks. Overall this printer seems very impressive from all the reviews I've seen.

Thank you so much for this. My 3D prints had started having more and more errors, so I took a look at the condition of the nozzle. It was ... unsatisfactory. I have new hot ends, a new heat block, M2 bolts, and different sizes of nozzles on the way, thanks to your advice. :)
