This is one the the best of out of box Co2 lasers that I have used. Mostly due to how easy it is the get setup and use. There are also a lot of add-ons for it so you can customize it to fit your needs.

I can get by with diodes for now.

Hey, that is great that you can get what you need done with diodes. I mostly cut and engrave on a lot of clear acrylic so a CO2 laser is a must.
You do get darker engravings on wood using a diode along with being able to mark stainless steel.
