I like the safety features like Emergency stop, fire detection, and USB key lock out. Does this also have an auto stop if the protective top cover is opened as well? That's a feature that should also be standard in these.

Argh! Another worthless review, didn’t go over how to use the new features. Did some cuts, showed them off with some xTool b-roll and called it a review. Laziness…
It's a review not a tutorial. Also I used the roll from xtool for shots that I wouldn't be able to get or illustrate properly or get the point across quickly.
@@randymay - “Quickly” proves my point. Let’s just a video out as quickly as possible with as little effort as possible. People had these machines for weeks before launch, and this is the best people can do. Mind you there are a bunch of these S1 videos produced the same way. A review entails going over a lot more than what you did.
I haven't watched anyone else's video to be honest so I don't know what else people have done. Just because you have had something for weeks doesn't mean you have all that time to dedicate to it. Even with this video it took a good part of a week to just shoot the footage and over 12 hours to do all the voice over work along with the editing. This also has to be done and ready to go by the 18th.
That being said if I come up with an interesting project to make a video about using this laser I will make sure to show how to use it seeing that people seem to struggle with that.
@@randymay When you get it weeks ahead of time, and still have to rush to get a low production video out, then do less reviews. The quality of the video matters. Maybe you should take a step back and watch what others have done. Others were able to put out a quality video, they actually did their homework. Try doing the homework in a reasonable time, Instead of trying to rush and do your homework on the bus ride to school.
Well honestly if you don't like how I make my content then you don't have to watch it. There are a lot of other TH-camrs that you can watch as you pointed out with better content. I just don't have the time or mental bandwidth to fight with a random person on the Internet. Well have a good week.
