No silicone on those paper gaskets. I know this is an old video but in the future all you need os is clean dry mating surfaces and the gasket. Thats it.

Im thinking one of my u joints is bad on my 92 toyota pickup 4wd. Hearing a strange squeaking sound at low speed under the cab and there is some vibration that i had assumed was the wheels but i changed them and its still there. Hopefully this is the problem because its been bugging me for the better part of a year.

Definitely helps just with understanding how this transmission works. Unfortunately the truck I just got looks like it’s leaking from inside the bell housing probably that main seal it doesn’t have the clutch fork boot and shined a light and looks like oil inside the bell housing and has left quite a mess around that area

You should have seen it before it burned up. It was a magical place.

So guys . I have a 85 4runner, adding 31's and a lift, and re doing everything under the frame, braking etc.. What exactly is needed to upgrade front and rear ? like to go from drum to disc in the rear also ? suggestions etc anything change since this video was made ?

Can't believe you just cut that boot without even trying to stretch it. It will stretch and fit over the shifter. That was enough for me.

Hi there, i hope you will find this remark please. My SJ413 (Samurai) is not stuck in neutral or in 4H or 4L, i can freely move the shifter to any position. The problem is, once I select 2H and release the clutch, the car does not move. If I select either 4L or 4H, and then release the clutch, the car moves. The wf hubs are in the "Free" position. Thanks

My 3rd has broken teeth :( Doing a rebuild with Marlin Crawler. The only difference between a g52 and a g54 is the thickness of the input bearing(open-face 20mm thick-g52, sealed 23mm thick-g54). It's the W series has different gear ratios and a top shift ;)

I'm happy I found this. It was helpful. I was able to take a picture or the buld and do a Google image search. Try searching for climate control bulb or interior bulbs for the model of 4runner you have. Thanks

My "computer guy" talked me into buying one of these instead of another desktop computer because it is cheaper but I have had nothing but problems with this POS. I'm not a computer nerd and don't have the time or patience to be adjusting this piece of crap every time I turn it on. Raspberry PI 4B sucks for people that just want to plug and play.

Pacesetter headers is what I have, fit perfect & a whole lot cheaper! Less than half! $149 I stripped them & painted them with ceramic paint! Red metallic valve cover, block is grabber green, headers are florescent orange!

I’m trying this for my 89 4Runner stock igniter was 1000$ used and this was a better option I have it all hooked up and no spark there are wires that may lead to the ecu that was originally connected to igniter coming from main wiring harness do I need to connect to the ecu in any way??

I had a set of those headers on a carb 22R back in the 90s. The DTs I had weren't long tube though, they were short and I don't think you need that emissions tube on it either. I think I blocked it off somehow. Maybe that's why they don't make the short ones anymore. It was on a 86 carbed sb 2wd.

It is a whole lot easier to pull the motor out
