    I have a 84 here in SA so steering is on the other side. Any case looks like my cable broke so thanks for the video. Going to try and fix it over the weekend.

    Great video! Was perfect to replace my speedo cable. 1 quick question, I have a little bit of a bounce in my needle in lower MPHs, the transfer case side looked pretty gunked up, can I clean that in some way with something like a brake parts cleaner? I did my best with a rag but couldnt really get in there.

      Not sure if this is still helpful but, someone else said that cleaning it out with break cleaner and lubing it up again is good. They said to avoid DW 40 (too thin) and white lithium grease(dries out).

      @@kizmetmars are you saying clean the port where the cable connects with brake clean? What would you lube it with?

      @@southeastsportsmen Yes, brake cleaner is good to use. I'm not sure what to lube it with though. The guy suggested something I've never heard of before. Maybe ask at an auto shop? The best I can think of to use is silicon grease.
