1st Gen 4Runner Center Console Rear Power Window Switch Removal/Cleaning

My rear window stopped going up and down using either the center console switch as well as the rear key switch. I decided to clean the center console switch to see if it would fix the issue. Everyone everywhere says to clean these switches first yet no information is out there on HOW....so i hope this helps out.

Thank you so much for this video. Previous owner must’ve partied to hard and threw up on the switch. Cleaned it and boom it works

I'm happy I found this. It was helpful. I was able to take a picture or the buld and do a Google image search. Try searching for climate control bulb or interior bulbs for the model of 4runner you have. Thanks

It reminds me of a dash cluster light bulb. i wonder if its the same thing, just in a switch. My center console wiper switch works so i have yet to see if it has the same bulb. it would be awesome to get them both illuminated.
