1987 Suzuki Samurai Ignition Switch Rebuild

Somehow a ground wire and live wire on the back of the ignition switch contacted together and melted the solder on the ground wire. This is a dissasembly and rebuild of the ignitions switch.

U can buy the switch off ebay really cheap easier than a rewire

I saw this as well and ended up with a new switch a little while later after my mod gave out. too much burned plastic

Larry, my buddy has a 88, and it quit running. It beeps when he puts the key in, but won't fire. What do you recommend? Pleas HELP! Thanks, and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I feel terrible that im seeing this a year later but i would suspect the starter wiring. Im very sorry for the late response.
